The media could not be loaded. Perfect, exactly what i wanted for my 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport. That was really easy to install and setup with the aftermarket screen i installed. Now i can control the screen (Volume, etc...) without touching it. Anything is okay. Also if i turn the headlights on the night, buttons glow too. That's great. I recommend the product

I followed the installation instructions to the letter and it does not work, the lights never worked, when trying to configure the buttons it is as if it sent a continuous signal, the radio did things like raise and lower the volume and move from one screen to another without touching anything... It's garbage and a waste of money.

First things first, if you don't know anything about installing car audio, don't write a negative review, take it to a professional for installation. I am using these remotes on an Atoto S8 Premium 7" Android head unit that I installed myself. If you are even slightly familiar with car audio installation this will be a very easy install. Each of the wires on the IR receiver are labeled. The wiring diagram is displayed along with the product images on Amazon, very easy...even for an electrician ;-) When programing from my head unit I had to connect one steering wheel key wire at a time, I then went back and connected the second steering wheel wire to program the second remote. I mention this because I had initially connected both steering wheel wires but only one remote could be programed, after removing one of the wires I could program the second remote then reconnected the other wire. The build quality is "okay", not the best and not the worst. The remote keys have an audible "click" which I don't care for but the tactical feel is very positive. I really, really like that they decided to use inexpensive, readily available AAA batteries (not included) instead of some proprietary rechargeable battery. Actually I wouldn't have bought the remote if it had rechargeable batteries. I do wish the screws they included had a black finish instead a very obvious silver color so I may try to paint them. The real killer feature is the backlighting of the buttons. You simply tap into a wire on your car that is energized when you turn on the headlights or parking lights. I chose to tap into a conveniently located wire on my HVAC switch - works perfect. Please note, the lights on the remote do not illuminate until you first switch on your car lights AND THEN press any one of the buttons on the remote. This is actually a really good idea because that way you are not draining the remote batteries if you don't need to use the remote. Another feature I really like is that once lit, the remote buttons stay lit until you turn off the car's lights. I very much prefer this to a time-out feature. The color of the backlight is red which seems like an odd choice since most car instruments have a green backlight. It would have been nice to either make them green or have a switchable color choice. In summary after only two days of using this remote both day and night I am very pleased with it. I replaced my crappy, expensive Atoto remote and this is a big step up - it also looks semi-factory, especially if you use a steering wheel cover like I do.

it flashed red lights when i put the batteries in? is there supposed to be lights? hard to use at night time

What a great idea and a great product! So easy to install and looks and works fantastic. Made my 20 year old car like a back to the future mobile.

Bad product lasted about 1 week then 1 button stopped working then about 2 days later 3 more buttons failed . Don't buy
