SUMISKY Laptop Stand Cooling Pad 100% Bamboo Adjustable Laptop Desk with 2 Quiet Cooling Fans Blue Light and 2 USB Ports Ergonomic Cooler Pad for 13-16 inches Laptop (15"x11")

I bought this item to use with my two laptops, and it performs pretty well. It looks nicer than the plastic cooling pads that I was considering. The blue light doesn't extend far enough that you can see it on the left or right of the computer, so it isn't distracting. You can adjust the speed (therefore noise) of the fans, and on maximum speed it still sounds quieter than my air purifier on low. The pad itself never gets hot even after a couple hour session of gaming with my CPU at 70 degrees Celsius on my HP Omen 15 (2020). The 2 USB has passthrough which work even if the fans are off, so you don't sacrifice a USB port. I have my dac/amp connected to the second port and it works. The fans can be on even if you don't have your laptop on. There's a nice click on the fan control wheel to tell you that it's off, but you can just unplug the USB to also turn it off and it'll automatically start when you plug it back. The highest elevation provides a good amount of space, and I like putting the bottom edge of my laptop slightly on top of the detachable stump that keeps the laptop from sliding down to provide more airflow between the laptop and cooling pad. This item seems to be a re-brand of the Klim bamboo cooling pad; they probably got it from the same manufacturer in China. Their pictures don't show their Sumisky branding on it, so I thought it was clean, but their name is on the bottom right of the pad.It's great for what it is, but there are some improvements that can be made. I would like to have three levels of elevation instead of two: high, low, and none so that the cooling pad can be rested flat on the desk; it would be easier to stack and store. The feet could be designed like the other cooling pads with this set-up except wood. The USB ports are 2.0, so flash drives will be very slow. It's 2020; there's no reason why anything lower than 3.0 should exist. USB connectors also don't go all the way in, so there's some loose, wiggling room (doesn't impact performance, though). The blue light doesn't bother me, but I'm sure some people would like the option to turn it off without turning off the fans. The USB ports and fan control wheel are not only in the back, but under the cooling pad, so reaching for them is a little awkward. Their next products could perhaps move them to the left or right side of the pad for easy access. The wheel is a little rigid and stiff instead of smooth when turning. The feet have smooth foam tips, so the pad can still slide if you push it. It stays stationary fine during use, but it would be great if it were rubber instead.

Bought this as a gift for my mother in law. She was looking for a laptop cooling pad that wasn't noisy and one that would last a long time. So far it's been used for months with no issues at all and sje absolutely loves it. From the design to the overall operation and durability, well made product and easy to use.

I bought this to keep my laptop cool while playing games and doing intensive workloads. It's a good design and I like the bamboo parts. However, on the lowest height setting the plastic from the fans is just a little bit too thick and contacts the desk. This means that only one of the front feet touch the desk and the stand wobbles. I removed the fan section entirely and just use this to give my laptop some breathing room.

I was skeptical to buy this as none of the reviews mention if this worked with the MacBook Air. I confirmed it works very well. Without the unit, my laptop would heat up all around the screen and trackpad. Even on high, it is warm around the screen but noticeably cooler than without and no heat at all around the trackpad. I appreciate the usb-a to usb-c adapters since the Macbook Air only has usb-c now. I like the style and build quality as well. Highly recommend this purchase.

I bought a gaming laptop and it gets rather hot when in use and this cooling pad works very well! I love the color change as well. The noise level is very low and is easy to power through the USB port! I really love the fact that it is a real bamboo product and is very decorative!

I love the design of this laptop chill pad, but the quantity of the fans ruined it. With fan speed set to anything less than maximum, you get a strange, annoying pulsing that can be seen and heard. Thinking it might be because of my laptop's USB port, I tried plugging it into a 5-volt USB charger. The problem persisted, so it's an issue with the fan speed control. It's a shame, because this really is a beautifully designed product. I already threw out the box, so I can't return or exchange it.

I've had two other cooling pads that were made out of metal. Here's the thing: Thin metal that deforms easily and then ends up touching the fan and stopping it or making noise. This is a slab of solid bamboo and is built well.

I really wanted this to work. I bought it just recently. Some people may not be annoyed by the sound, but for me and some other reviewers it's really a thing. It has a very distinct and low sound. I couldn't use it for more than a few minutes as I was getting very distracted by it. Really a shame. I'll be returning it. 5 stars for it's cooling capacity. 5 star for its ergonomic. 1 star for noise level.
