Lucas quality for your lower unit.
Next season will be the first time to use this oil (stepped up from regular base stock) to a synthetic one. Never had a lick of trouble from the stock oil used, however for the price of oil now (5 bucks more for synthetic) why not run it due to the advancements in technology. If I have a problem I'll update this review, however Lucas is no small company and have plenty of reputable products that work.

Lower unit oil for Evinrude
It came fast just what I need.

Arrived without application nozzle.
The description on Amazon showed a picture of the oil bottle with a pointed nipple for the lid. But it did not come with that type of cap. It was a flat lid and I almost sent it back because it did not have the squirt nozzle. I finally found one that I could use but it leaked as I was using it. It is designed for use in outboard motor your box. So you have to squirt foil in from the bottom screw until it comes out the top screw. That is impossible without a pointed nozzle. I think I wasted more oil than I actually squirted into my gearbox because The cab I used did not fit the bottle as tight as it should. It was a very messy procedure. So to say the least yes I am very disappointed that they did not send it with the correct application nozzle.

Legendary Lucas performance
Exactly what I expected and needed, also pleasantly enjoyed the nozzle so I didn’t need a pump to get gear oil into lower unit
