These boxes are easy to open and close for my preschool and kindergarten age girls. It's so great to be able to put different foods into the same container instead of all the little baggies and containers that take time to open and then little hands can't seal back up if they don't eat everything. No more messes of crumbs and sticky stuff coming home all over the inside of their lunch bag. Since the teachers at school have so many kids and only 20 minutes for lunch, it's great knowing that my girl can be self sufficient to get her food out and just eat, and not wait for someone to help her.Boxes are easy to clean, we hand wash, and it's a really quick to wash after school and then the box is dry and ready to load back up for the next day in the evening after dinner. Having different ideas keeps lunches fun and appealing to kids.I ordered two different boxes and there was an issue with the packaging on one that caused the wrong design to be sent from Amazon (item mislabeling error). When I reached out to Kinsho to ask how I could go about ordering the design that I wanted, they were super prompt to reply by email and went above and beyond to send me the box I wanted directly at their cost. It just arrived with a handwritten note and they also sent an insulated bag as a gift. The best customer service I've ever received!Highly recommend this product for ease of use for both parents and littles. The excellent customer service makes me feel confident that they'd make it right if there was any issues with the function of the box, but I don't expect that will ever be the case.

Update::::This bento box was all smoke and mirrors. A week after using it daily my daughter had trouble closing it and the little blue tray falls right out mind you I’ve never put it into a dishwashers I always hand wash but yet & still it had to be replaced.I absolutely love this bento box and my daughter loves it too. It arrived on time before her first day of pre-k we are so excited to try this item out. It has exceeded my expectations in every way. I love it’s durability and the fact it holds everything separately and it is leak proof it fits perfectly inside of her lunch box. I highly recommend this product for your child. Will buy again & again!

This is super cute! There is a bunch of space and my three year old loves it. It is however hard for her to open and close (sometimes it's hard for me to close)! When used on an airplane, the pressure change caused it to seal itself shut, I had to use hot water and a butter knife to pry it open at home later.

Yes this fits in the pottery barn lunch box! Great little bento box that appears as pictured. Perfect portion sizes for my 4 year old and she is able to open it herself. (This was the reason we bought it, as I didn't want her teacher opening her lunch during COVID. I have only hand washed and cleaned the individual sections with a bottle brush. No problems with leaking thus far. Buying another today so I don't have to clean as much.

We only wash these by hand, but by the time we’ve used them for a month they can no longer close easily. I have to push down with my body and latch them. My daughter can’t close them at all. We’ve bought them multiple times because it’s part of a set with her backpack, but when we switch sets we won’t purchase these again.

Very sturdy lunch box! Wish the compartments were a little bigger.

So badly designed. After few uses lid does not close properly. Really hard to clean them. The gasket doesn't prevent leakage and soak food smell permanently. Most of all not designed well for kids. My 5 year can't open or close it without help. Bulky design with actually less space. Totally useless.

When school lunch isn't what she wants this is the perfect size for my grand daughter to take.
