Great product
This is my favorite detergent for delicates. I like the lavender one and now I got the evergreen woods, which smells even better. Thanks!

smells great and cleans effectively
This detergent has such a fresh smell and cleans super well. I only ever use a little bit (about a teaspoon) to hand wash my clothes and undergarments. Cleans super effectively and leaves my clothes smelling great without triggering any allergies or skin issues. I've used this to clean my silk pillowcase as well and it works beautifully!

Nice fragrance but use less
Like this fragrance so much better than the lavender. However, deducted a star because the instructions tell you to use way too much detergent. The clothes actually don't get as clean, or smell as good, as they do with a smaller amount. Dislike a company telling you to waste product especially since the detergent is expensive to begin with.

Fragrance-free & non-irritating - and it seems to an adequate job of cleaning
I wasn't going to review this laundry product until I had had a chance to use it with silk and wool items, but then I realized that that may not happen until the rather distant future. So far I have done two loads of sweaters, tops, and lingerie (one light, one dark), and only one item was a blend of silk/cotton; everything else was nylon or cotton or spandex - and that is likely to be my washing pattern nearly always. I do have some silk dresses that I love, and I always take those to the dry cleaners. My husband is a redhead and has ALWAYS had very sensitive skin; mine was only moderately sensitive when I was younger, but has gradually grown worse as I've aged. I had to give away all my wool sweaters that actually came in contact with my skin (even alpaca and cashmere); I do still have cardigans, but have to make sure I wear something non-irritating underneath. So, for several years now I've been on a continuous search for fragrance-free, color-free, "hypo-allergenic" products that will also do an adequate job of cleaning. Since we live in a smallish city, I have to buy most of these products on the Internet. Frequently when I do find something that seems pretty good, I can't find it again when I run out!!! So, I bought the LeBlanc wash after a fairly lengthy search on Amazon; the 64 oz. amount seemed somewhat excessive for a household of two - but from the product descriptions, the LeBlanc seemed the one that best fit our needs of mildness, yet adequate cleaning. So, I've used it twice - cold water for the darks, lukewarm for the light colors, with a double rinse. I air-dry the stuff that might be damaged in the dryer (e.g. bras, swimsuits, some sweaters, etc.), and dry the rest at the lowest heat setting in the dryer. It worked fine, and neither my husband nor I are having any itching or other issues (our skin always does get better in the spring and summer, when the humidity in our area is higher). So, I can't comment how well this would do on wool or 100% silk, but it worked fine with our "everyday" laundry - and with the 64 oz. size I will not need to search for more for a LOOONG time :) !

did not remove grease stains from silk scarf
I bought this product because it was listed on a site for hand washing Hermes or other fine silk scarves. I purchased an Hermes scarf which had two small grease spots on it, and followed the instructions of this product. It did not remove the stains. It suggests soaking items for 20 minutes, but the silk washing site said to only soak for 3 minutes or the water based dye on an Hermes scarf would start to release. I soaked it for 3 minutes in tepid water and it did release a small amount of dye, as the water was light blue. It did not remove the stain, however. It may have worked had I soaked it the full 20 minutes, but then a lot of dye would have released, staining the scarf. I then treated the scarf with spot remover and washed in Tide gentle, scent free, soaking for 3 minutes. It got most of it out, but not all. I am returning this product because I bought it to wash silk scarves, and it apparently does not work with only a 3 minute soak, which is necessary to product dyes in silk scarves. Perhaps it does a better job with light colored lingerie or other light colored things. But it definitely released dye in 3 minutes.

the scent does go away
I ordered this to wash my silk pillowcases. When I got the detergent I was a bit put off from the smell- not my taste I prefer unscented. I decided to try anyways because my pillowcases really needed washed. I soaked them in a little basin and agitated it with my hands every so often. after the 20 min. I rinsed them off and hung them to dry. I wasn't too happy with the outcome and the appearance of my now "clean" laundry. not to mention it smelled rather strong still of the detergent. The second time I washed them I decided to try a little different approach. I did as stated above, rinsed, then I repeated the soak/washing. Once the washing part was done, I refilled the container with clean water and swished the pillow cases around and changed out the water 3 times. After that I did a final rinse under the faucet and hung them to dry. I am happy to say that there was not that strong of a smell and my pillow cases looked clean.
