So I bought this and put it together the same day I received. I used to online instructions so I could zoom and rotate the picture of the pieces I was working on. This was incredibly helpful and I wish more companies had this option. However, even with this it was still a chore to put together by myself. Then sadly, as I was putting on one of the last few pieces, I screwed into a predrilled hole and somehow the piece cracked. I was do disappointed because it was right in front (piece JA). I figured I'd give the company a message fully noting it arrived intact, I must have just messed up somehow. They shipped me a new piece no extra questions asked and I got the piece in less than a week! Crazy fast! So I would definitely recommend them for their customer service alone. Thank you!

We have purchased 2 of these desks. The quality is outstanding for the price. Directions are easy to follow with clear pictures. The hardware is great quality and it's super sturdy when put together. Easy to clean durable top and surface. I will be buying at least one more.

After reading the reviews, I guess I’m lucky I didn’t receive anything damaged or missing parts, my desk came in complete, but I will say it’s a hassle to understand the instructions, they’re not very clear and something I didn’t like is that for the rails, the holes were not predrilled so you have to make your holes which was scary bc we didn’t want to end up breaking the whole board. It’s very pretty and sturdy I loved the finished product. Instructions could of been better, the hardware could of been separated and maybe even numbered or something and the drawers could open up a little further but for the price it’s alr.

Ordered this for my daughter's room. I was not expecting super great quality, but when it arrived it was already damaged, parts of the box were crushed. Usually that's not a big deal, it happens. It's also my fault that I didn't read the description carefully enough or I missed it, but this is not solid wood (again, fine, I was not expecting a fabulous hard wood desk), but it seems to be made of pressed particle board and fell apart immediately as I started putting it together. Very shoddy.The printed instructions were not very clear so I downloaded the app for the 3D instructions. Those were great and I was able to put the desk together no problem, but it didn't matter since the materials were so crappy that it continued to fall a part.Do not buy, it is terrible material and you will waste 1-2 hours of your time putting together a desk that breaks and falls apart immediately. Waste of money.

The media could not be loaded. Good material. Easy to assemble. Took me about an hour to build. Just needed a screw driver and the manual was straight forward! Looks duarble, its very stable for the price. Compared to high end priced desks I would totally go for this one again. I bought it for my daughters room as a desk, but could easily be used as a vanity if you added a vanity mirror. The drawers are not very spacious but it provides with storage would mostly be efficient for a school student. Good for small spaces, very easy to handle and move around not heavy at all. The color was just as described and matched perfect with my daughters room. An adult size desk chair fits well and gives space to move around easily with a loose flow.

I was thinking this desk might be a little better in quality than what I would find at the blue big box store but it is not. (I know, I know, but a girl can dream!)The direction booklet is just a bunch of drawings that are less than descriptive. The app is a little more helpful but not by much.The drawer slides require 16 screws that are not pre-drilled so that was fun.Some of the wooden dowels are smaller than the corresponding holes (good luck getting them out if they go in all the way).And a smaller piece split because the hole wasn't drilled straight. I currently have it clamped with some E6000 and am letting it sit overnight before trying again.I have loads of experience putting together furniture and this is, by far, one of the most frustrating!If I ever get it finished the desk is going to be used as a base for a Hollywood vanity. Fingers crossed nothing else goes wrong!

I see a number of reviews complaining about parts broken or chipped or damaged when the box is opened. I really don't get it, because the unit is boxed extremely well, with foam inserts internally and reinforcing layers on the outside of the box, box straps around the box for integrity in shipping, and including robust foam bumper guards on each corner of the box on the outside. A shipper would really have to mangle the box badly to actually damage anything inside the box.I unboxed and inspected all the parts when it arrived, and they were all good, and it is not obvious at all how components in the box could be damaged unless the box itself is crushed or severely damaged. As furniture kits go, this one is boxed better than most.As for the kit itself, it is classic Danish/Swedish kit furniture design, just like IKEA kits. If you have never assembled a furniture kit like this, then you need to pay close attention to assembly instructions or you will find yourself doing some disassembly and rework. If you have experience with say, IKEA furniture kits, then you are good to go and will have little difficulty with this kit. The instructions are also classic Danish/Swedish furniture kit style as well, and easy to follow if you pay attention and take your time.Note: load bearing weight for the desk surface is rated at 55 lbs, so plenty strong as long as you do not try to climb on it (which you should never do with kit furniture like this. The drawers are rated for 7 lbs, so do not count on using the drawers for storing bricks or heavy books. For this class of kit furniture, these numbers are pretty normal.

at first i was scared to purchase because the reviews said that it came broken and there were missing pieces but it was in my budget so i said f it and bought it and its so cute nothing came broken and it actually came with extra pieces such a cute table to use as a vanity
