Good quality and sturdy mortar and pestle. Instructions regarding seasoning the mortar and pestle were clear and mentioned as an image on amazon which is highly appreciated because this is my first mortar and pestle and I didn’t have any idea on how to season it. The item came packed with a lot of hay due to which there wasn’t any damage to the product. It is a nice item for day to day use. In the seasoning instructions they’ve mentioned to first grind rice until the powder grinds white, i only had to grind rice twice until the rice powder looked white and at first i had taken handful of rice but it was flying all over the place while grinding so i suggest used very small quantity of rice while seasoning and it will do the job perfectly.I didn’t have any issues with stone particles getting into food

Very nice and useful .l used it for crushing ginger garlic. Whole spices and for breakingwole nuts and seeds.

The mortar and pestle I used for making chutney when I tasted chutney i felt particals of stone.

The product is good in quality and looks, size is good for small quantities but the quality of pestle is not good. The edges of pestle got damages while grinding. One has to be very careful while grinding as the small pieces of stones get mixed the things you grind.
