4 years later, still reliable!
I have carried this in my bag for over 4yrs now and it still works great.It has seen some abuse, too. I broke the tab off eventually, like all RJ45 ends are susceptible to... And I also bent the usb connector on accident, ripping the plastic case off. It didn't damage the solder joints on the PCB, so I bent it straight and glued the plastic back together. (That was over 2 years ago.)

Worked as desiged
I like this adapter better than a lot of the other FTDI USB to RJ-45 Serial adapters because the USB casing is smaller than most. This was critical for connecting to some OOBM console servers.
