Classy Clamps Wooden Quilt Wall Hangers – 4 Large Clips (Black) and Screws for Wall Hangings - Tapestry/Quilt Hangers Clips for Hanging/Quilts Rack

I used these clamps to hang a small oriental rug (3' x 4'). The rug dealer suggested I put nails or screws right through the rug into the wall. This seemed like a bad idea. I was happy to find a better solution here. I ended up using three clamps spaced across the top (4' side) of the rug so the rug didn't buckle in the middle. It looked so good that I ordered a second set so I could put three more clamps along the bottom edge to weigh it down slightly and balance the appearance. My wife likes the look of the clamps even more than she likes the rug itself ;-)

Very attractive and easy to install, but use caution when tightening the round caps. I managed to snap one of the front facing pieces with a little too much torque.

I was very happy with these clamps. I inherited quite a few handmade rugs/ kilims from my parents and decided to use them in my work office for sound dampening.I didn’t want to drill holes everywhere so I used medium size command picture hanging strips. (Like Velcro). I’m sure it was over kill but I wanted to do it once (and not have them fall or rip the wall). I accidentally used 5 on my 80x72 in rug (less than 15/20lbs) I did add 2 command strips to most of the clamps. The distance between the middle and first set out was 12.5 inches then the outer was about 18 ish.. (i started my plan wrong lol but just went with it). They are both still hanging (knock on wood lol).Be sure to wipe the wall behind the sticker/strip with alcohol to clean it. I stuck the empty clamp to the wall (per directions) for at least one hour before inserting my rug.For my thinner (single knot, reversible) kilim I decided to add an actual Velcro strip (not command) to the bottom and top clamp to give it a little extra traction since my rug was thin. See photos.This was a fantastic and non intrusive solution! I am finally able to display my beautiful rugs - and hopefully my office mates won’t hear me as much through the wall.I might add some of my other smaller rugs around my house since it was so easy.Helpful hint. Measure down from the ceiling or up from the floor to help get the clamps level.

I put these up by myself in about 10 minutes! 4 screws (included) and then clip blanket and slide them on the screws. Great value and so easy.We use this blanket and hang it to store and enjoy when not in use. These hangers make it easy and quick to take down and put back up.
