it serves as a great styler if you want to wear your hair out ...
I have been using this conditioner for six years on and off as a leave-in and deep conditioner. It is pricey, but very effective at providing lasting moisture to dry, highly textured hair. It is so moisturizing that I have over-conditioned with it a few times so it does not need to be used every week. I use it on freshly washed hair that is damp (t-shirt dried) and apply it warm since my hair is low porosity. The KEY is to apply it damp so that it can soak into the hair and not just sit on top. After applying, I lightly spritz my hair with warm water and apply a second layer. A little goes a long way with this so you do not have to use much. I let it sit in my hair anywhere from 30 minutes to 24 hours and because it has aloe vera and shea butter in it, it serves as a great styler if you want to wear your hair out while it is deep conditioning ;-) I would recommend this to anyone with dry hair or who goes through an occasional dry spell, especially for the Winter seasons when the indoor and outdoor air can be drying. I have layered a penetrating conditioner like Giovanni Tea Tree or Sally's GVP conditioning balm over it for the double conditioning method also called WCC method with great results. Finally, I have paired it with Coconut Oil or a keratin protein conditioner like Camille Rose Coconut Water if my hair needs strength + moisture and it works very well like that.

2b-2c. Low-med porosity. Low density. Lovely!
Love. Makes my hair so so so so soft. It smells great. Like fantastic. It works whether you do a quicker condition in a hot shower with steam or under a warm cap for 30 min.

Smelly but awesome
I was looking for a treatment that didn't require heat so I would be able to use it more often in my daily routine. I use it about once a week. I have fine, low porosity 2B (I think 2b) curly hair. I love this stuff! I can get 3 day hair when I use this. It really tackles the frizzies well. The only thing I don't like is the smell -- more gardenia than coconut and strong. I typically choose no fragrance products, but I like this enough that I forgive the smell and am buying a second. Using once a week, it has lasted several months.

not impressed
My hair did not feel moisturized with this conditioner. This was more a hype, and nothing else. You never know it might work for someone else. But for me it did not work.

Excellent Condish!!!
This conditioner is the bomb!!! My hair was moisturized and a stronger. I have 4A/B high porosity hair and my hair loves it. Don't hesitate to try this conditioner, I think you will fall in love too!

but the smell was so terrible. I just couldn't do it
Came on time and wrapped well, nothing but praise there. I tried to use this twice, but the smell was so terrible. I just couldn't do it. Quite a few of the hair products for curly hair are like this, however. I'm not sure why. Maybe the ingredients don't smell very good and the strong fragrance is there to cover it up. This combination of coconut and gardenia was the worst.

Very good...
Quite simply one of the best DC I have ever used. My hair is well moisturized and nearly tangle-free after my DC. I don't use it weekly because it does have alcohols in it. I also like to add additional oils and honey to this and any other DC I used. This is a staple, and I plan to keep it in rotation. I would use it more often if not for the alcohols.

Love it
I use this almost every week with my warming cap. It helps my wavy fine hair stay healthy and hydrate.
