Great sound for their size.
These speakers are pretty amazing. They offer excellent controls to help adjust them to a room's acoustic environment. They are easy to set up. They are a bit heavy for their small size, but I hope that means they have good speakers inside. I'm on the fence about their value for the money. They are a bit on the expensive side.I think my only issue with them is that their low end doesn't deliver as much bass as my Polk shelf speakers that were half that price.Other than the bass, they sound pretty amazing and would be an excellent addition to a professional or home studio environment.

They replaced my HR824's I had for 20+ years
Excellent accuracy. Loud. Crisp. If you want to hear more low end , buy the subwoofer. For me, I use them for mixing and they are simply wonderful as is. They're big, but look nice. Sound adjustment controls are great and make a difference in your space. I've got no buzzing, or digital scratchiness. The amps are well shielded or grounded. There's no unwanted sounds coming from these. Super happy with my purchase.

Good speakers but they need a ton of space around them
unless you have a lot of space around these speakers, they will sound very muddled. needs like two or three feet at least on each side. After owning these for 6 months, I've started to appreciate them more and more though. These are genuinely great speakers! They reproduce the bass of all my tracks perfectly, in a way I just haven't seen in other speakers

Loved the sound quality
When you hear songs on these quality speakers, you just realize all other speakers and headphones are trash. The set ip is not easy for a house, you need to make sure the angles and distances are right. When it’s done properly, it AMAZING!They are great for living room and are beautiful

Not the cheapest but you will not regret buying these.
For accurate low and mid range sound these are the best. I asked around among some of my sound engineering and musician buddies for accurate near field monitors and these Hs8s were what they told me to buy. I did a lot of recording studio work in the 80s and early 90s and Gauss, JBL, ElectroVoice... dominated most studios I worked in. But I have been out of that game for a while and I just needed be free of the muddled mid range and booming distorted lows found in most consumer speakers. These did the trick, I imagine their smaller siblings sound good to but I wanted a pair that (at least for passive listening) would not need a sub. These sound great mids and lows are flat as a board. Now my problem is I can hear all the crap in the cheap compressed digital recordings and I need to start replacing my audio collection.
