This product keeps you healthy!!
This is the sixth time I have ordered this product from Amazon, but it is the first time it was shipped directly from Seller (which was a seamless transaction). I have been taking cod liver oil since I was a child, in a malt form (ugh) as a kid and later as gel tabs for decades, but the stores quit selling them. I went to a health food store which recommended this product as best for cod liver oil. The gel tabs are easy to swallow and best of all - no fishy after taste. Cod liver oil is good to keep your immune system and brain humming along.

So far so good -
I'm testing this product out to see how it works for me.My sister was at a friend's house and her friend was taking this brand of cod liver oil for her health and she swore by it. She gave my sister some capsels to try. After a week my sister started noticing a big difference in her back pain and hips. Her doc was going to give her a cortisone shot but she told him she didn't need it now that she was on these.I talked with Sis last week and she told me about these for my severe rheumatioid arthritis, to just try them. So I bought a bottle of the lemon (her and her friend were using the unflavored) and have been taking them a few days now. It feels like a bit of the inflammation may be starting to decrese. My fingers, shoulders, knees, elbows aren't feeling as stiff and swollen...even my spine feels looser instead of so stiff. I've upped to 3 per day, with meals, and will work up to 5 per day.I've chewed these (at the review of another) and they taste like a lemon gummy without the sugar. Not bad if you can't swallow a large capsul, you can chew it. No fishy taste or smell at all. These don't have a lot of Vitamin A or D to harm your body when you take 5 per day...a big plus!I'll keep you posted on how well this works for RA inflammation.ETA: It's been a few weeks now that I've been taking these. It really has knocked down a bit of inflammation. Now I can't tell if only the Cod Liver Oil is working because last week my doc put me on a new anti-inflammatory and it's done more then even the super-powerful meds I've been on for severe RA. I'll continue to take these, it could be the combination.

Changed my life.
Very much reduced my dry achy thirsty joints. Increases mobility and helps rebuild joints. I love this stuff! I doubled up on my dose for the first week to get it really working fast. This is the one supplement that I’ve needed for so long now and didn’t even realize it. It’s been a game changer for me. I trust their quality as well. Just get it. You won’t regret it.

Try it yourself and see what science is missing
I keep seeing articles pushed my way with headlines that say fish oil has no known effects on health, or that it’s a placebo.I’m really skeptical of these articles and the methods used AND the sources funding them because I experience, along with many others, tangible effects with this cod liver oil supplement through consistent use.Give it a try and see for yourself. My mood, immune function, energy, recovery are all improved and it’s been my very unscientific anecdotal opinion that these little gems assist my body in improving my life. It’s a supplement not a panacea, but it works.Ignore the ‘ganda and try it to make up your own mind. I’ll continue buying.

Buy "Lightly Lemon" or "Low Vitamin A" instead of "Super 1000mg"
May 2013 Update:I've been taken these soft gels off and on for a couple years now. Every time I get done being sick, I will have a stuffy nose for months. These soft gels somehow magically clears up my nose and I can breathe again! I'm guessing it works like an natural anti inflammatory medicine. I take them more during the winter for the vitamin D. I also take them before final exams to boost my brain or protect my immune system during the flu season. If you check out the Carlson website, they make different bottles with very different vitamin amounts so look at the labels carefully before purchase.Original review:Here are the supplement Facts per 1 soft gel for Cod Liver Oil "Lightly Lemon" and the Cod Liver Oil with "Low Vitamin A":Vitamin A: 150 IU (3% Daily Value)Vitamin D: 80 IU (20% Daily Value)Vitamin E: 2 IU (7% Daily Value)Omega-3: 230mgEPA: 85mgDHA: 100mgIf you buy the Carlson Cod Liver Oil "Super 1000mg", be aware that it has high contents of Vitamins A, D, and E which can be toxic if you take too much:Vitamin A: 2000 IU (40% Daily Value)Vitamin D: 250 IU (63% Daily Value)Vitamin E: 10 IU (33% Daily Value)Omega-3: 240mgEPA: 90mgDHA: 120mg"Lightly Lemon" offsets the fishy taste if you don't like regular fish oil. This has low Vitamin A and it gives you about the same amount of Omega-3 compared to Super 1000mg. If you buy the "Super 1000mg" which Carlson recommends to take 5 soft gels per day, that means you will have 200% Vitamin A which can be dangerous for your health. Also on the bottom of the bottle says best used by 2015, I bought this in 2011, so expiration is about 4 to 5 years.
