My dad wanted a 24 hr clock and this was perfect.

I love the look-and-feel of this clock. And its features are just what I wanted. And I liked the not-too-large size of the item. HOWEVER, I bought mine circa April, and it quit working about 13 months later. I thought perhaps the failure was a fluke, so I simply bought a replacement. This SECOND clock ran for less than four months before failing. Both were using fresh batteries, of course.The failure in both cases was that the "fourth" 24-hour Zulu time hand had stopped. I could get it moving again, but later in the day, each had stopped again. I just want one of these clocks that keeps running!

...having a 24-hour hand available for keeping track of UTC -- which is confusing when moving between timezones (Ohio and Tennessee) and switching between standard and daylight time.

I like the red clock hand indication of current 24 hour period. Works on one AA battery. I set it for Zulu time.
