I Highly recommend this. It is more useful that I thought it would be. This is a good quality unit and it was packaged well. It functions as described and installation is super simple. The unit even lights up for night driving. The best feature is that you don't have to take your eyes off the road to adjust volume, or change songs. It adds a little safety margin to your daily drive.

Eh this is cheaply made and a $5 part on popular Chinese websites. Joying isn’t the manufacturer they’ve just put their name on this listing and that’s it - not even the box. For generic android head units, you’ll want to connect the white wire to ‘Key2’ on your head unit. NOTE many of the Chinese wiring harness diagrams use meaningless color. The pin location is what matters not the color of the wire on the diagrams for your head unit.

I have a 2019 Toyota Tacoma with ATOTO F7G2A7WE-S01 head unit. I could not get my factory SWC to work correctly so I installed this JOYING SWC instead and works well. Three wires to connect and program and done! ATOTO makes their own version SWC but I opted for this one as it is all black and matched the interior of my truck better. Finding a place on the steering wheel takes some trial and error as it has a tendency to activate the volume wheel when you do big steering wheel turns like when parking. So I placed it in the area pictured and angled it in a bit where I can still activate the control but not when turning the wheel. It requires and does not come with a battery (CR2032) be aware of that. Overall I recommend this item.

Works exactly as expected. Wiring was simple and straight forward. Paired this with a joying 8.8 hesd unit in my 2001 jeep xj. The item does feel a little cheap which is why I dropped a star. We will see how long it will last and I will update my review.

Received the item and was pretty easy to install. The instructions were straight forward as long as you know what wire is Key1. Thank goodness I had the manual for the aftermarket stereo I installed or you may never figure it out (not because of this product).The item itself was very disappointing. It seemed okay quality and I was so excited to use it. It fit perfectly on my steering wheel. The buttons didn’t program right away, but that’s because I missed a ground wire on my stereo that I had to fix before it would register the buttons being pressed.The connectivity is horrible! Sometimes the buttons work and other times they don’t register at all even though the receiver lights up registering a button was pressed with no change to the stereo. The volume control is very jumpy. Rotate it one click and it goes up one. Rotate it two clicks and it jumps about 5 notches in the volume. Definitely can tell it was cheaply made after seeing it perform. Could be promising, but might want to find another option.

The one thing I don’t like is the instructions are poorly translated and don’t mention anything about the remote battery. I broke the battery tray trying to figure it out.Otherwise;This is s must have for any android touch screen without dedicated volume buttons. This was extremely easy to hook up: 3 wires on the decoder and a battery in the remote, then map the buttons any way you want in settings. This product is a literal life saver, since before I would have to take my eyes off the road for about 5 seconds each time just to adjust the volume.

Installed on 2004 Jeep Liberty Renegade with an Sjoybring head unit. Paired easily. Strong fit especially with steering wheel cover. Excellent value for your money. Wonderful functionality. Battery life will need time to tell.

Bought 2 of these and neither of them will make the SWC app go into the "Learning Mode'. 6 weeks of back and forth emails from Joying Support and NO HELP. All I get is send Video of trying to operate! Anyone else have this problem about not going into the 'Learning Mode" to assign the keys, connect a resistor of about 100 ohms between Batt (-)(you can use the chassis of the unit as ground for Batt (-)), and connect the other end of the resistor to the White wire and the SWC app will go into the 'Learning Mode' and you can actually assign a key to one of the buttons. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUt, it will only work with that resistor connected. Disconnect the resistor and then NO LEARNING MODE!
