Compatible with MIRA 'Jump'
My MIRA 'Jump' shower head and hose were getting worn and leaking. I was tempted to purchase a cheaper 'Universal' fitting to replace them, but read reviews that cautioned against this as 'universal' isn't necessarily the case for all shower models and it ends up being more expensive because you need to replace it after a while, if it even fits. After reading up on MIRA fittings, the company claimed that all their kits are universal to all of their models. I purchased the head along with a hose and both were very easy to install and work perfectly. It is worth the extra cost sometimes.

Better length for use with Mira Jump.
Great replacement part, compatible with the Mira Jump shower. Fast delivery too. This hose looks identical to the original one that came with the shower but is a better length. I believe the original one is 1.25m while the one I ordered was 1.75m. This is much better for family use, covering height adjustments from kids to adult. The original had started to split at the ends due to growing teens, stretching it to/beyond its limits, moving the shower head. I'm sure they think that they are taller than they actually are.I was expecting it to be a little longer than it was, compared to the old one, but I'll put that down to the old one being stretched. This hose much like the old one has 2 slightly different connectors, one is shrink wrapped in red in the packaging. Basically one connector is slightly longer and more tapered. This is the one that should connect to the shower head, because it fits perfectly in the clamp. It should work the other way around too, but I would expect it to fall out of the clamp easily.Others have complained about the hose being stiff, but the old hose was just as stiff. This must be by design, although I agree it would be nicer to have more flexibility. You normally get this from the metal hoses, but unlike this one they are difficult to clean.Dropped 1/2 star for flexibility,

Top Quality
Bought to replace and original Mira hose which was exactly the same and had lasted about 3 years, the reason for replacement is that someone had been a bit too aggressive with it and it was beginning to come apart from the head end. It's quite a stiff hose and not as flexible as some others due to it having a strong clear plastic coating but as others have pointed out this makes it easy to clean and it does not make that awful noise when dragged across other items like soap dishes, it is also less likely to snag on things. The extra weight is also a benefit and the end that fits the shower head exactly matches the socket on the wall holder, so I don't need to replace the shower head and it's holder and it keeps the head in a stable position. I don't mind paying a little extra for these features plus it should last a bit longer than the standard cheap hoses. You could buy 3 or 4 cheap ones for the same price and to be fair they would probably do the job until someone twisted the head round a bit too far in the wrong direction but if you never remove the shower head from the wall socket, the head itself is held by the wall socket instead of the end of the hose and nobody is likely to pull on the hose they should be OK for a while.
