Q: Do you need to add eggs to make the ice cream? Are any ingredients difficult to procure?

The way I make it at home is by mixing heavy cream in whipped stage with condensed milk. Allow it to whip for a while. This makes an awesome ice cream base. You can then add flavours, fruit chunks etc n let it set. I prefer sorbets I've ice cream as these are much healthier n can be made in a normal blender as well. Blend Greek yogurt, frozen fruit of your choice a tablespoon of honey n a dash of lime juice n voilaa.. Awesome summer snack or dessert. If I have to serve ice cream to kids I simple freeze the fruits n blend. Banana in frozen state makes the best nice cream base. You can add a dash of raw honey or maple syrup n a few chunks of chocolate chips...Love it

Any of the following reasons 1. Your icecream mixture may not have the proper mix of full fat milk and cream 2. You have added too much sugar - excessive sugar does not let the icecream to set 3. If you have added too much fruit pulp or some flavouring like butterscotch, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, rum etc which also retards the setting process Try and follow one of the very simple recipes with exact measurements and see if it works - you can then try experimenting your own mix and match

yes indeed. have had a good experience with it - but one needs to follow all the guidelines given in the instruction booklet. 1 - the coolant in the inner cooling bucket has to be frozen solid by putting the bucket inside the freezer for at least 24 hours - gently tilting it will tell if the coolant is frozen solid, 2 - using amul cream in a ratio of 1 : 1 of full cream milk or less - meaning more cream, works well. a little experimentation is needed to find out the mix that works, 3 - the ice cream mix has to be really cold, a slurry that is close to frozen, 4 - the machine has to be running while pouring the slurry in otherwise it freezes solid on contact and the paddle will not turn, 5 - keep the amount of ice cream limited to about 600 or 700 ml, 6 - if lots of ice cream needs to be produced it might be an idea to buy a second freezing bucket... enjoy!

Q: How do I reduce the ice crystal formation?

When you freeze it in half frozen state whip it again..Do it two to three times before it fully freezes. This may increase over all freezing time but works best. Best to make it after lunch. Blend well at 7 pm n once again before going off to bed.. awesome ice cream ready by morning

Great product for use at home. Go for it!!!

I was initially in two minds before buying this ice cream maker. However, after using it I am happy that I made a good decision. I have made two desserts on two consecutive days in this ice cream maker, and both had turned sooo awesome. I used my own recipies and ingredients of my choice, to make vanilla ice cream and blueberry yogurt, and they both tasted really good. I might also try the recipies provided by them in the booklet some day. Overall, no complaints about the product. Full five stars.

Good buy

I think it's a good buy and if you're following a proper recipe, your custard/anglaise shouldn't end up like a soupy mess. I was quite nervous to buy this product since there were bad reviews as much as there were good ones and I really didn't want to waste my money. Relieved it has worked out perfectly fine so far (made 5 icecreams)

ZERO customer service from brand.

It stopped working - and they seem to have no customer support. I went online but there’s no number - only an email address for ‘feedback’. They offer a 2 year guarantee - but what if it stops working before then! Or even after then! There should be some way to contact them to get it repaired. Ridiculous. Probably some random machine made in China.

Liked : Ease of use/ Ease of cleaning/ Simple but practicalCons : Takes time & efforts to perfect the blend for Market like flavours/ Icecream tends to get hard & sticky at the bottom

Not worth at all.

It's not value for money. I could make the icecream only once since I bought it.. after 2 use the ice cream was not freezing.Slush can be done out of fruit juices, but that too citrus fruits only.

Very easy to make icecream

Was very easy to use and very effective in making the icecream. The only issue I had (which made it unusable) is that one of the paddle holder tabs broke off. Will try to so if they provide replacement parts.

Product was good but the packaging was very pathetic…..it was gift for someone but I couldn’t able to send that as a gift…I had to repackage it….please improve your packaging quality
