The only thing that helps my 3 month old my spitting up but my God it’s so expensive!

At 10 weeks my son was diagnosed with severe acid reflux. He would spit up or vomit constantly and his breath smelled sour & acidy 24/7 from the regurgitation coming up from his stomach. We couldn’t take him anywhere because the car seat, stroller and carrier would make it 100x worse to the point where it began to affect his breathing.Out of desperation we tried Enfamil AR upon the recommendation of a friend. One feeding and the reflux declined significantly and 1 week later we had a completely different, calm & relaxed baby with NO symptoms!The only downside was that my son developed minor constipation during that 1 week adjustment period. He would cry while trying to pass a bowel movement, but was still able to go 1-2x/day just uncomfortably. This is due to the rice cereal/starch which can cause this unfortunately. I increased his probiotic liquid and that seemed to do the trick! After the week passed he has been fine.Stools are now much less smelly (yay) and clay-like, which I think is why the bowels may be a little bit more uncomfortable at first.We are so glad we gave this a shot! Also, baby seems to like both powder and liquid - we keep both on hand and use whatever is most convenient at the moment! I just wish they made the liquid in a larger size so that we could stick to just one. Regardless, Thank you Enfamil for making this amazing product that helped us so much!

Our newborn was spitting up a BUNCH! We switched to this and noticed that the amount of spit up became much less within the 1st couple days.

I tend to not write reviews unless I either love or hate a product. In this case I am reviewing a product that has saved my sanity and my wardrobe. My lil guy just turned 3 months and since birth has had a major spit up problem. We're talking over 25x day and in large quantities. I wasn't even sure he was getting any milk at all. (I am unable to produce bm so formula is my only option) He also deals with acid reflux which has been extremely challenging. I have tried everything from different formulas to prescription meds like zantac and Prilosec. The dr said that by treating the acid reflux that the spit up should decrease. They were wrong. As a Mom you go with your instinct and not always what the drs say. After trying every formula on the market, colic calm, etc. I finally found a solution. My lil guy takes 3 oz so here is my breakdown: 3/4 gerber good start gentle and 3/4 enfamil ar. The combination keeps his bowels regular. So far in 24hrs we have had one major spit up. This is amazing considering that everytime we gave him a bottle we would be covered in spit up. I know it may not work for every baby but as a Mom you should at least try. It could save your sanity and wardrobe too. :)

The media could not be loaded. This is a good choice for my baby as far as helping his spit ups, I've notice a significant change in the amount of spit ups he was doing. I waited a week to give a review to see if it honestly did help and it has, the only issue I have is that when mixing this product it makes HUUUGE amounts of foam! No matter how I mix it, I hand shake the bottle it would make big foam bubbles, I tried a mixer and it has a weak setting so it left it chalky looking and I found my good mixer I would use in my other drinks and it Honesty made it look like starbucks foam u would get on top of your drink. So I'm not entirely happy with it cuz I don't know how to mix this with out all this excess foam! Even my daycare provider asked if it was normal I said no but what else can I do??
