Laundry Soap Kit - Fels Naptha 4 bars, 20 Mule Team Borax Natural Laundry Booster, & Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda

I loved this kit. They made it simple to have all you need to make your own laundry detergent. It's clean and makes a good amount. This lasted about 3months for me and my husband. This kit works well at getting clothes clean and fresh. Would definitely buy again.

Made home made laundry detergent

This is a great value pack for making laundry soap at home. It was the perfect amount and has lasted me a long time. I used a cheese grater to shred the bars and it worked perfectly. Has never damaged my energy efficient washer and my clothes are always clean.

My grandpa was a painter waaaay back in the day and wore white overalls. Grandma always rubbed Naptha soap on the sweat stains and other simple stains (thick paint, no). The Naptha bars have a very strong fragrance, especially when first opening the package. They came wrapped in plastic wrap and the fragrance just jumped out big time when I cut it open. There was (and usually is) powder dust from both powdered items in the bag. It sifts through the spaces in flaps of the packaging. I put all of them in the same cabinet as some boxed tissues and wow, did the tissues pick up the fragrance of the Naptha. I moved the Borax and Arm & Hammer to some plastic lidded jars and put 1/4 cup scoops in them. I found a recipe for making laundry soap, which I have heard works so much better than what the market supplies. I have been using the Borax 1/4 scoop in my HE front loading washer and it's helping to loosen stuff that was stuck in the fibers from commercial laundry detergents. Instead of rubbing damp garments with the Naptha bar, I've dampened the bar and rubbed it on stains or areas of clothing that catch body odors. The fragrance of all three was strong for a while but it's calmed down. It's not a bad fragrance, it's just quite strong and if you have breathing problems, the Naptha is the worst. The Borax and Arm & Hammer are powders and sift into the air with some strength in fragrance. But that's about all I know on that.

Works really well but if making the dry version of laundry soap, it can leave white marks on dark clothing even with deep water wash. It comes off easily with a damp cloth but...Has I nice subtle aroma. Easy to make recipe and NO PLASTIC JUGS going in to land fills.

The media could not be loaded. To be clear- the packaging was horrible. The box came with an open box of washing soda all over inside it. Even with poor packaging, I can’t give this less than 5 stars.I made 5 gallons of liquid laundry detergent using 1 bar of soap, 1 cup of washing soda and 1 cup of borax. My bedding came out smelling so neutral and clean. I’m about to make fabric softener with vegetable glycerin, vinegar, and a little essential oil. I’ve been more mindful to avoid endocrine disrupters and so found this option. I’m so happy I did- such a savings for my health and pockets

I love this it saves me money. It’s about $10 a month for me to buy this and it last me three months and I have a big family. It smells great I do add extra soap to mine when I make it. I had three bars it doesn’t stay on my clothes. It rents as well. I just love it and you can use it for other things around the house when you clean so I always save a little bit and another container with the label so that I can use it to clean my house so you’re getting These products and you can use them for just more than laundry. Plus you’re saving money and it’s better for you and your clothes and my kids all have very sensitive skin. I wish I would’ve made my own laundry soap years ago I used to think everybody was crazy and now I’m one of those people

Makes the best laundry detergent! I add natural scent to mine and it’s perfection!
