Update: Auch der Ersatz hat gerade mal 5 Monate gehalten. Unfassbar.Bodum hat bei dieser French Press eine Sollbruchstelle eingebaut, um Kosten zu sparen und sicherzustellen, dass garantiert kein Mensch länger als 2 Jahre in der Lage ist, diesen Kaffeebereiter auch zu nutzen. Ich habe nach 1,5 Jahren schon zwei(!) Reklamationen durchgeführt, weil immer wieder der Pressstempel einfach abbricht, weil das Schraubengewinde einfach aus einem billigen Plastikteil besteht. Und ja, ich war natürlich immer vorsichtig und habe nichts Außergewöhnliches damit angestellt.Wie kann man denn nur so einen Schrott herstellen? Noch dazu bietet Bodum diesen Centartikel natürlich auch nicht als Ersatzteil an, sodass ich gar nicht wissen möchte, wie viele Menschen diesen Kaffeebereiter nach 2 Jahren ohne Chance auf Garantie und Gewährleistung einfach nur entsorgen (müssen). Derart profitgierige Geschäftsgebaren auf Kosten der Umwelt sollten verboten und unter Strafe gestellt werden, weil es einfach nur Absicht ist. Irgendein Anzugträger hat für dieses "Design" mit eingebauter Obsoleszenz eine fette Gehaltserhöhung verdient. Ich kann nur allen Interessenten energisch vom Kauf abraten.0 Sterne

Ordered to replace my old 1 cup/mug cafetière with same capacity, I have no problems with it at all as it looks well made of good quality and have no issues as yet.However i have deducted a star purely because it states 3 cup size which I feel could be misleading (purely a wording issue), also looks like it has been returned as the packaging had definitely been opened but not used, so I can only imagine somebody had returned it because it was not big enough for them and felt mislead by description.

It’s perfect for ONE normal sized UK mug of fresh coffee. I assumed it would serve 3 cups but unless you drink out of tiny TINY teacups this doesn’t serve 3! Other than that it’s sturdy and does the job!

Used this for a couple of weeks.Easy to completely dismantle and clean thoroughly as the pluger part unscrews from the lid.No metal parts in the base so it microwave safe for frothing milk - which is a great idea for a easy home made latte.Build feels sturdy and high quality - no complaints at this price point (£12-15)EditNow broken after 7months... Not great. Like others the threaded section of the plunger has snapped.

I had a similar Bodum cafetiere which I used for years to make coffee at work, unfortunately the glass finally broke so I ordered this one for fast delivery (thank you Prime!). Usual excellent Bodum quality, I found the filter is much more effective than my old one and I get a great cup of coffee from it.For those wondering - as I was - how big 0.35L is, you get one large mug or 2 smallish cups out of this.
