These bumpers really are fantastic. When I first removed them form their vacuum-packed packaging, I was disappointed with the size; I had imagined they would be larger in diameter. Also, as stated in the instructions, they are extremely stinky. But, after machine washing and tumble drying the covers (they remained in perfect condition afterwards), and letting the bumpers air out for a bit more than a week, I have to say, I, and more importantly, my toddler daughter, couldn’t be happier. The new memory foam smell is gone, the bumpers stay in place (due to the rubber pattern on the covers), and the bumpers are soft yet firm, and retain their shape as soon as the pressure is off. Great product. Now, here’s hoping they’ll last a few years :)
