Great writer
I collect and use high end fountain pens, mostly 14 or 18K nibs, and I can tell you that this is one smooth writer. I bought two, because my friend always wants one of whatever I have. I wish Amazon would have allowed me to ship his directly to him, but that's not Acme's fault.

Nice but there will be no service after the sale
I’ve decided to review the ACME pens I’ve purchased throughout the last few years because of a recent run in with their customer service or rather lack thereof. Nice weight-feels good in my hand and writes great. HOWEVER I’ve since needed to contact ACME customer service (and I use that phrase loosely) regarding a problem with a pen purchased directly through them and they are not interested in keeping the customer satisfied in any way shape or form. They have by far and away the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. I was actually informed via email they’ve never had a complaint about any of their pens and never had a pen that didn’t function properly all their pens are perfect. I find it very hard to believe given this day and age and what seems to me like the ever declining workmanship of many brands that everything they make is perfect. I’ve also read other complaints online that they’re only interested in selling their merchandise not taking care of the customer afterwards should problems arise. For the record the fountain pen I purchased won’t write the ink won’t release and furthermore I own several fountain pens I know how to ink the pens and I believe after research perhaps there is a problem with the tines however I don’t think it’s my responsibility to fix a brand new pen that has never written a word straight out of the box. This is a defective item as far as I’m concerned and any reputable company would replace it immediately at no cost to the customer. ACME was notified within 48 hours of receipt of the pen that it wouldn’t work it’s not like I had it for weeks.

What a great pen set!
Stylish, hip, just a very cool pen set. I have a few Acme pens and love them all. But this one is just so special!
