Q: Why does it say to wash diaper covers and inserts separately? Whats wrong with washing them together? What does salt do?

I wash them all together. I would say though I noticed fuzz balls on the inserts. Not sure if that's why. Salt would make the hard water softer but I don't do this. Many people use calgon in laundry as a water softener. Hard water sometimes causes odor and build up.

Q: Do these work well with training underwear?

I would say no. These are diapers, so they wick away moisture. Part of training is needing to feel wet/dirty.

Q: Will this inserts fit in Mama Koala diapers?

Hello I have insert from different brands and all of them fit in any diapers brand I do use.
