Can use battery while charging
Charged up an old agm very heavy battery that I thought was a goner. Love how you can charge while still using your 12v battery for whatever purpose.

Great battery tender for a Corvette
I have a 2006 Corvette that I converted to a lithium-ion battery from Braille. When I did this, I wanted to make sure I had a compatible battery tender to make sure the Braille battery would stay nice and healthy during prolonged periods the car is not used. The C6 Corvette is known for battery run-down issues, and I knew this problem would be exacerbated with a lower reserve capacity battery, but I wanted the weight and space savings. I originally had a quick disconnect system in the car, the inconvenience of this became clear whenever I needed quick access to the car, so I decided to install an on-board battery tender. The NoCo unit is very small, and lends itself to being installed in a multitude of locations. The weatherproofing helps a lot, especially if you mount under the hood. I decided to mount inside the rear compartment nearest the battery. This may be an issue for Corvettes with a full-size battery back there, but for me, since the Braille battery was already a smaller footprint, it made fitting everything inside the compartment easy.Long story short, the unit works perfectly. The Braille battery in my car is still healthy and the car hasn't really moved since it's not my primary car. If you're looking for a small tender that can look after a multitude of different batteries (lead acid, AGM, litihum ion), this is the one you want, ESPECIALLY if you're concerned about space and want to mount it on the vehicle in question. NoCo has many other options for garage tenders as well if you aren't interested in mounting on-vehicle, and in my opinion they're the best when it comes to jump starters and tenders. They have many products to choose from, and I highly recommend this unit, as well as anything else made by NoCo. I have one of their jump boxes and the power and footprint are very impressive. I've started equipping all my vehicles and my family with their products.

Multi-use charger
Unit appears to be well made. I used it twice and it seems to be fine. These kinds of products are very difficult to review, especially immediately after purchase. I hope it is good for my new Lithium battery. Again, it seems to be well made and is functioning as expected. The option for use with different types of batteries is nice. It stays on the "type" selected until changed - this is the best aspect thus far.

Was skeptical....but not anymore!
I purchased this device to hopefully remedy a parasitic drain on a vehicle that sits most of the time and I only use on the weekend as I have a company vehicle to use during the week. I kept getting in and finding that the battery was too low to even turn the engine over. After some blog reading, watched a couple Youtube videos and then diagnosed a parasitic drain on my system. In one of the blogs the author mentioned that this company's device could not only trickle charge my system while it sits all week to make sure the battery stays at an optimal level, it has the ability to condition the system to remove a type of crystal that forms inside the battery and ends up killing its performance. Armed with that, I came over to Amazon, found NOCO products and did some more research before settling on this particular one. I was skeptical, I have used trickle chargers in the past, how could this thing be different? The first thing I did was use it to charge the battery back to optimal levels. Next I used the conditioning function as I found out that when a battery discharges too many times, it causes a crystal to forms on the plates and this crystal absolutely kills the performance of a battery. I then reconnected the battery, permanently mounted this unit to my wheel well sheet metal and hooked it up. I fished the plug out through the gaps near my lights and have it so it is easy to plug in when I need to but not in a place where it will get ruined while driving. Kind of like using heaters for diesel engines in cold weather.I have had it on my vehicle for several months now and I am SUPER happy with it. With any luck I will be able to figure out what exactly is causing the abnormal parasitic drain but in the mean time, this little guy is worth EVERY penny I paid for it. I even used it to restore the life of an older deep cycle marine battery I had that seemed to be on its last legs. I just disconnected it from my car battery and hooked up the bad battery, charged it, then immediately ran the conditioning cycle. I ended up running that cycle twice as the first time helped but it still didn't hold over an 11 volt charge. Now its resting voltage is 12.7 volts and I cannot be happier. So it has paid for itself and then some by me not having to buy another marine battery. Hope my long winded review helps.
