Wife loves the sign
This was purchased to replace the original sign that wifey had ruined when she hung it outside and the rain got it. Keep this in mind if you purchase one. INDOOR USE ONLY. Wifey was thrilled with the replacement sign. It got me out of the dog house too. Details of that event require me to exercise my 5th Amendment Rights. (back to the sign) The size, color, and choice of font makes it easy to read and very stylish.

Life in the South, summed up in a few short sentences....
I LOVE the Southern sentiment expressed on this sign, which is why I purchased it. The 26" X 8" size makes for a much easier read from a short distance, when hung over a doorway. Unfortunately, the sign arrived slightly damaged; corners were not packed sufficiently to protect them from dropping. Fortunately, the design of the sign was "distressed" and the damaged cracks and split wood added to the original distressed look. I was able to use a black marker to cover up the small splinters of missing surface. I notified Amazon and requested either a 50% discount on the sign or ship a new sign out to me. They credited 50% of my purchase price immediately to my credit card. I love the "distressed" look and doing business with these people was great!

All of my friends want this
I have this hanging in the kitchen over the door and I have so many people asking where to find it and how much it costs. I am a southern girl and I agree with the statement on the sign completely

Love the sign but corner was damaged.
Sign is very nice. But the corner is damaged. Looks as it it was dropped in shipping or packaging

A must have if you live in the south.
The plaque that I have over my dining room door is smaller and when this one came (for a gift ), I was afraid it would be too big. Just the opposite, it is a perfect size.

Love being for The South (Sign)
Being from the South, and proud of it, I had wanted The South Sign for a while now and was so pleased that I could get it for such a reasonable price through Amazon. It came in great shape and I love it!
