It does not come with a makeup applicator. You can use any type of eye shadow brush you like. There are many different looks you can create with the variety of colors. I like to use a small dense fluffy brush to spply a base color and then a small crease brush to apply a darker color to the outer corner and crease and then a larger blending brush to blend everything out to get rid of any harsh lines.
