Pick the absolute best pick
Let me tell you that I'm a boi that likes a thick pick. You see me with a pick in my hand you know it's thicc. I've used 5mm picks and I've used .20mm and I instantly knew I needed the girth in my life. I like a 1-2mm thickness personally, it hits me right in the sweet spot but all kindsa picks come in thicc so why pick this picks you might ask? Because it's smooth and when you work with something that's big, black, and thicc, it better be smooth let me tell ya. Now maybe you don't like it thick, I've certainly met my fair share of dames that had that preference and if that's the case they go thinner. I've used the .80 and .55 mm and while that .55 was far to flimsy for my somewhat over masculine hands just know that it was still very smooth and for something so flimsy, very easy to play with. Don't hesitate, this is the pick that you need in your life.

A slight variation of the Tortex Jazz III
Picks are personal, so I will just describe: the size if this pick is between the Jazz 3 and Jazz 3 XL. I like the size very much. The material is extremely stiff, but has a rather dull tone ( in the 1.5mm). The surface texture is very simikar to tortex, which i do not like. The matte finish makes the pick feel like it has baby powder on the surface. I prefer glossy surface picks, like D'Andrea pro-plec. The edges are accurately cut and slightly broken, but not well-rounded. Hence, for me, they require at least a full day of break in. I ended up not liking them and will probably not buy again, although they are good enough to practice with, and I hate to waste anything.

I've finally found the perfect pick
I've tried so many different picks, all gauges, materials, and types, and finally I can stop blowing money on them. I love the standard 1.14mm Tortex Jazz III, but I find it to small for me for more Metallica style down-picking rhythm. For that, I love the Tortex Jazz III XL 1.14mm. But -- for lead, the XL isn't as good as the regular Jazz III. I wish they made something in-between and that's when I discovered these. I got the "heavy" ones which are 1.10mm, so almost the same gauge. In the photo, I evenly stacked those 3 picks:From bottom to top, it goes:Tortex Jazz III XL 1.14mm (Purple)Black Ice Guitar Pick, Heavy (Black)Tortex Jazz III 1.14mm (White)I find that I can play all types of music, types of picking, lead/rhythm, etc with this one pick. AND they aren't super pricey. (ChickenPicks are awesome, but about $6-7 per pick.Hooray.

I really like this pick
I really like this pick. It has a real musical quality to the pick attack that is smoother to my ears. Not as bright as the Nylpro and Dunlop Jazz III stiffo picks. The one thing that is REALLY noticeable with this pick is how easily they glide across the strings. I can pick faster, cleaner, and with more dynamic range with this pick than I can any other pick.I have used the black Dunlop Jazz IIIs for at least the last 12 years until I tried this one out. I like the the way this pick just as much. The pick attack sounds better for Jazz and progressive rock (to my ears) as I prefer a smoother, warmer, attack. The Jazz IIIs I prefer for Hard Rock and Metal as they have a sharper attack.

My favorite pick
These are now my favorite picks. I play bluegrass guitar, and found this one at a jam. I tried it out and really liked the way the pick does not grab the strings. They have a good sound without the annoying pick click that many of the more rigid picks have. I found the owner of the pick, who had given it to another player to use. I purchased a pack of .8 (medium) and a pack of 1.0 (heavy) to see which I liked better, and I settled on the .8 mediums. I was surprised that the pick worked so well for me, because it is smaller that a typical pick, and I tend to have trouble holding on to picks anyway. I have been using these for almost a year now, and they are great for strumming and picking.

One of the best small pointy picks at a not-outrageous price.
Good quality material with consistent points and finish. Solid grip. Easy to hold onto and control. Two personal things make me deduct only one star.1- I prefer a larger pick. Small pointy picks bug me.2- I prefer a lighter color since black picks have a tendency to disappear on dark stages on top of black amplifier heads. If you're young with perfect eyesight or only play in a well lit bedroom, that won't be a problem. If you like small pointy picks and don't mind the color, then these are quality picks at a reasonable price.

Great pick, really good size and grip. I also like the flatness. its way better than jazz picks and I was really blown away by these. I really thought I was not gonna like them but ended up loving them, I think these will be my main.

Best Pick for me!
I've been using these for 5 years now. They appear to have done through with a brand/logo change but they are still the same pick. Very fast pick I learnt to play electric on. You can swap between finger picking easily.
