Worth it
I was skeptical buying Chinese crap off Amazon. I read the reviews and held off for a bit. Then I hit a deadline and figured WTH. It worked great. I was surprised. It was sturdier than I had anticipated. Held a Yamaha ttr90 dirt bike with no issues. I put it on the back of our travel trailer. It managed a 5 hour drive with 40 minutes of off-road time. Really impressed

Happy With Purchase
Bought last year. Had to buy the secondary stabilizer piece and you don't even notice it's on your vehicle. Only downside is that it didn't match up 100% when I assembled it. It's very sturdy and holds up great, but as fair as a perfect assemble I was just a couple centimeters off. I read other reviews that mentioned the same issue, but since I am not ever going to be placing anything close to the maximum weight on the rack, I'm not concerned.

AWESOME for Tail-Gate parties, camping trips.
We bought this when Hurricane Nate was slipping into the Gulf and we were getting ready to evacuate. It is strong enough for filled gas cans and a couple of coolers. We would recommend it to anyone needing to carry extra cargo for a tail-gate party, camping trip, etc. or to use as we needed to. PS...Nate went the other way...yahoo!

Reliable for my purpose.
I've never used one of these before, so it would have been helpful to have had instructions for use. It only takes a sec to figure it out, but I was concerned about bending the dust cover on the upper receiver.I was able to use it with a small vice, c-clamped to a workbench. Applied 60 ft lbs to rifle barrel with confidence.

Feedback on assembly and the ride
I am giving a feedback based on just the assembly as I haven't taken this on a trip yet. The assembly requires 2 people who are strong enough to handle the weight and work the bigger bolts and nuts. The instruction seems to be a bit unclear on some places. It looks like the plan was to have everything covered in one paper and it shows in the lack of clarity. I didn't see enough detail about how to fix it in the vehicle. I might be making a small mistake, but there isn't enough detail either in the instruction or a picture to show what am I doing wrong.I will post another update after I fix it to the vehicle and take it on a trip.Update after the 1st ride:-------------------------Well, as suspected I was making a silly mistake and had to focus for few minutes to figure out myself on how to fix the carrier to the hitch, problem solved. :)I tried to do a trial run before the actual trip and kept some half filled bags on the carrier wrapped around by a tarp, I didn't have a cargo bag or cover. I bought some cargo ratchet straps and some bungee cords and tied the ends using the various holes in the carrier. Ratchet straps hold things really tight depends on how tight you want it to be. Bungee cords help for the extra stability and the flexibility. I took it for a small trial round and everything went fine.Next day was the real trip. I had loaded bags now which were bigger than the trial ones. Everything still worked out fine and the trial run really helped me. I had about 200+ lbs worth of things on the carrier and it just stayed however I fixed for the whole journey of about 200 miles. It was easy to fold and unfold. I had to carry the bags locally the next day for a short trip and just used the bungee cords. It was good enough for an hour of local drive in steep roads and curves and a bit of freeway run also.Overall I am happy with this purchase (I didn't buy it in Amazon due to lack of time to wait for shipping) and am looking forward to further use of this in future trips. :)I would suggest using a cargo bag or at least tarp to cover the cargo from the elements. Ratchet straps or similar ones are must for long journeys and some bungee cords to support that will be good enough I think.Since I couldn't find a good review on this item when I was searching, I made it a point to update it after my trip. Hope this is useful for others.

Loosie goosie
Good idea But the fabrication is not right.it hangs down at maybe a 15 degree angle, and is very loose. Was able to do some modifications so I can live with it. Shouldn’t have been necessary
