Best double stick tape for the shop!
I've used this tape for just shy of 30 years on all kinds of shop tasks. Stick some parts to a board and make difficult cuts on the tablesaw with hands safely away from the blade. Stick plastic/wood/foam parts on a milling machine for quick prototyping. Stick material down on a CNC router without it flying off. Stick templates to parts for some hand routing. Double stick tape some sandpaper to some wood or plexiglass for a precision sanding block. Uses for this tape are impossible to count! I see people on Youtube using two layers of blue tape plus superglue and I can't imagine why not just use this double stick tape to begin with. Great product at a competitive price!

Great double stick tape for woodworking
This tape is good for temporarily joining pieces of wood. I use it to make temporary jigs. In some cases you don't need fasteners. Otherwise it can help align pieces to facilitate adding nails or screws.

Great product
This stuff works great for router templates, which is what I exclusively use it for. It holds really well, yet it still releases cleanly. I'm now on my second roll and definitely recommend it.

Pretty good
Works well enough to keep boards from coming apart while drilling. Had to double it up in some places to account for slight wood warp. The tape has some thickness to it, which helps. Like a thin foam style tape. Came off without any residue.

So much better than carpet tape for woodworking
This tape worked great. It holds like...well...tape. Seriously, it held extremely well with zero side to side shift. It's thin enough so that side to side movement doesn't happen like on some of the thicker carpet tapes. Easy to tear without having to resort to scissors. You don't need much at all. I used it to hold two pieces of Walnut together which were approximately 10" square. Used two strips about 5 inches long each. Too much, only needed about half that or less. Took me a while to pry them apart when I was done with having them together. When I did, though, there was zero adhesive left on the wood. Nothing to clean up. This alone is worth the entry price.

The Goldilocks Double Sided Tape Solution
I was running out of my old standard double sided (D-S) tape which worked well for me but I couldn't find it anywhere in Calgary...the only issue with it was that I found it was extremely hard to peel off the backing once placed on the wood. I picked up a new roll of brandX from Lowes which was sticky enough but the backing just fell away when I cut a length of tape so, a PITA to place on the wood properly. I received the Intertape591 D-S tape a couple of days ago and used it over the last two nights on an inlay I was cutting with a router. I find that it is the "Goldilocks" solution! It cuts very easily with scissors, the backing stays in place so you can easily press it onto the wood surface and then the backing peels off with minor effort. And as noted in another review it is sticky enough to use several times once you pry the two wood pieces apart...I will definitely make this purchase again.

Works for me.
I prefer the narrower width. I can always put multiple strips together rather than cutting wider strips to fit. I’ve had good success with this tape.

Too thin
Not good for woodworking to thin. Great for paper
