Served its purpose well
We used this to cover the bottom of the stairs where a previous owner had pulled up the original molding and never replaced it, leaving a small gap. We glued and nailed it in place and painted it (too curved to use wood with stain) No one seems to notice that it is slightly different to other moldings in the area.

I had expected the moulding to be white, but it is a yellow-ish off-white. It appears to be of good quality but I will have to paint it if I install it, so I haven't yet.
