Best hot tent for the price.
The media could not be loaded. I own two hot tents, onetigris rock fortress and this one. The problem with the rock fortress is that you cannot sit in it on a camping chair comfortably. Although that is extremely easy to pitch, this one is far superior in size, versatility and use. I have clearly pitched this using a pergola in the garden but I would be very confident in doing this with extendable poles (8 required) or using two trees and the supplied pegs. You could easily fit 4 cots in here comfortably and still have space for the log burner. There is no ground sheet supplied but a cheap tarp, 4 mtr x 3 mtr would be suffice but if using a wood burner, get yourself a decent sized heat resistant mat to sit it on. Otherwise you will melt your tarp. I also bought a onetigris one person inner tent which gives you a waterproof base, and an insect mesh for midge protection. They will find a way into this hot tent. Tried the hammock set up too which was extremely comfortable and no water leakage. This tent is also a hand alternative to a gazebo in the garden if you have a family occasion that requires outside space. Mine has been outside for a week now and it is currently -7 degrees here and a comfortable 27 degrees Celsius in here. I am currently using a pomoly wood burner. Don't waste your time with a cast iron one. Too heavy and rust can be a problem. This hot tent is extremely lightweight and looking forward to using it soon on a canoe trip.

Great quality nice lightweight and extremely spacious
I can't really find anything I don't like the hammock tent could do with a couple of loops along the roof line for hanging items like your lamp the roll up vent where the chimney pipe goes through although you have a velcro safety surround the small flap that you roll up so the chimney can go through needs to be made of material that won't melt during a windy and very wet night the water built up on it pushing the chimney against the rolled up tide off flap and has completely melted it it ok not a difficult repair but I would suggest anyone else using one use a bit of string or elastic bands and once you've rolled it up as well as the tie in the middle being used put something round either end as well this should help

As always with OneTigris: interesting design, but POORLY manufactured!!
To summarise the issues with this tent, as with the brand overall in one sentence: a tent that isn't waterproof, is obviously a USELESS tent. And yes, the Tegimen does leak, as many of the OneTigris shelters tend to do - so this is a brand that obviously doesn't even test its products before unleashing them on the market, and seems to rely on so called "youtubers" and "influencers" to market their poorly manufactured gear for them... for likes and subscriptions of course. So I had to treat the whole tent with Nikwax Tent Spray, and seal the seams on the exterior - the tent however is still leaking at the sides. So if you don't want your quality stuff to get soaked, despite being inside your tent, then you better keep it away from the walls! And then there are the usual issues that tend to come with OneTigris products: condensation issues, an insufficient amount of guylines and tent stakes, no loops or pockets to hang up or store gear, and so on and so forth. This is now the 3rd tent that I've purchased from OneTigris, right after the Backwoods Bungalow 2.0 and the Smokey Hut, with which I've had similar issues as described above: incomplete products with design faults, and simply not weatherproof!! Then you combine these issues with something as dangerous as a piping hot wood stove, which tends to have further issues such as being flimsy, clogging, overheating... and you're in for a very long night in the middle of nowhere, putting your health at great risk. Though having obtained a good amount of gear from OneTigris over the past few years, as some of their products tend to have interesting designs... I'm honestly done with this brand!! I just cannot recommend, as that would be irresponsible.

Its good but not perfect.
Used this tent several times in the Highlands. Here are the honest pros and cons.Pros:Packs up small for a tentNice and spacious on the inside when set up properlyWorks well with hammock or cotFits 2 people comfortably + stoveQuality is okWarm in 0 degrees with the stove on.Beat value hot tent available right nowCons:Pretty awful to try and put up in wind...but most tents areThe stove jack is velcro and a bit shabby. I get the need to replace it which brings me on to the next pointThe tent moves around a fair bit in the wind and the jack tents to get pulled around the hot stove pipe. It doesn't come with the hole cut in the the jack, you have to do it yourself which leaves rough edges and they wear quickly. Bit worrying when the pipe get close to the tent material. It also widens the hole and allows all your nice heat to fly out of it pretty quick when the stove isn't on.In high wind the tent material can also get a bit close to the stove. They have extra loops for guidelines on the outside. I would recommend keeping an eye on how it moves once set upDoesn't come with tent poles.A bigger window for nice days would be nice.If you don't line it up dead on with the trees the hammock will pull the zip open and leave a big hole for heat to escapeIn summary I know it looks like a lot of negative but it is a good tent. If your looking at camping in the cold and you want to take a stove ( I have the outbacker) it's a good place to start without spending a fortune. It can also fit 2 people on beds together + stove no problem , where are most of the other hot tents are tiny, huge canvas things or just expensive.I wouldn't say it's a beginners tent set up but if you have been out quite a bit you will manage and enjoy it.Don't forget to buy a carbon monoxide alarm, small fire exstinguisher, cord, pegs, adjustable tent poles and a few spare jacks.
