Loved the price and that the item came with a backing plate,however I felt it was top heavy so had to drill through the back and also drill 2 further holes nearer the top.This postbox is now solid as it should have been.Also it would have been nice for heavy duty plugs and strong screws to have been included.Overall I am very happy with the product and it is certainly a lot cheaper than a lot of others.

I brought this to replace my old broken post box. Every time someone is at the door I get asked about it. It’s well made and solid. One tip if putting on the wall bracket drill a hole on the back of the box to help support the weight as bracket needs the extra support

The product really is great, but getting it on the wall outside is a massive faff. The product is solid and therefore very heavy. It took a long time to do it. I may have got one with a stand if I knew how hard it was going to be.

I love the way it looks but it was not supplied with heavy enough mounting bolts for affixing to a brick wall and the rain gets in, so make sure that you dont mount it facing the prevailing wind &/or check often to remove your mail before it gets soggy!It was definitely a two man job to wall mount, as it is heavy.

Good quality but needed touch up from cracked paint, but if it was perfect it wouldn't have the right feel to it. People have moaned about different metal strengths but the rear is designed originally to be totally concealed into a wall so front is a higher strength metal. 33 years service in Royalmail and for the quality and price I'm very satisfied with this purchase

Very poor paint finish which is a shame as they are nice.The first arrived with a terrible paint finish so was returned for a replacementReplacement arrived with substantial paint damage and corrosionI accepted 25.00 partial refund to complete the repairs myself.
