How deep are the compartments?

Not very deep. We gave it to my husband and he actually switched with our son. Our 4 year old has cars in it and my husband is using different storage my son was using. Its a neat box, really cool, just not great for his paints, etc.

Does the bottom drawer pull all the way out, separate from the box?

This was returned immediately since the pieces of wood did not fit together well. Latches to close everything back together didn’t function and a regular piece of paper could not fit in the drawer. I can’t remember if drawer pulled out completely. The top trays didn’t fit back together to be closed up either

What are the inside dimensions of the bottom drawer? Will it fit a 8"x10"x.75" Canvas?

Unfortunately I don't believe it will. The inner drawer dimensions actually measure out to: 11 15/16" x 7 & 3/4" x 1" so it would require a smaller canvas to fit. I actually use mine for rubber stamps so I use that drawer for ink pads and blotting scraps. Good Luck!
