Onida 14 Place Settings Dishwasher (DW14PS,Silver)

Using it for a month now. It does an amazing job. Crystal clear dishes and absolutely no noise. Very sturdy and good quality. Intended to buy Bosch but it stocked out. Did lot of research and finally chose Onida and it beat my expectations. It’s performance is on par or might be even more higher than the top brands. Completely satisfied and highly recommend. You can close your eyes and buy this. Also cost wise it is way cheaper than top brands. Did the installation myself as it got delivered during lockdown. Did not even take 5 mins to install, all you have to do is to just fit in the water inlet and outlet. I just had to buy a water tap adapter which costed ₹100 and fitted it myself. No plumber required to do this as long as you know which adapter to buy. Also the instruction manual clearly explains how to operate and hence did not even wait for the demo to be shown. Very satisfied with this product.

TLDR: The product is good, but the service is just atrocious (simply check Onida's official Twitter handle @ onidalive to confirm this). If your dishwasher suddenly stops working you'd be stuck washing dishes by hand for 3 months before it's finally repaired.This could be the best dishwasher in the world. But you would never know until they send someone to install the dishwasher in the first place. It's been 40 days since I placed the request for installation with Onida. Since then every time I call them for updates, they say - "Really sorry. This won't happen again. The service center will contact you within 2 business days for sure." To make things worse, the customer care said as far as the warranty period is concerned, the purchase date would be considered as the starting date (not the installation date), no matter how much the installation process is delayed.Would update the review IF and when Onida installs the dishwasher.Edit 1: 2 months + now and still no demo/installation visit. I can't even return the dishwasher on Amazon anymore as the return window has long expired.Edit 2: I emailed customer care and all I got was - "this will be resolved SOON". Just check Onida's official Twitter handle @onidalive (I should have done this before buying). It's full of similar complaints of no service visits for many months. There is one where the customer raised a complaint about a defective part within the warranty period, the service agent visited few months after the expiration of the warranty and hence the customer was forced to pay for it. I will update Amazon about this and let you know if they were of any help in my next edit.Edit 3: I called Amazon customer care to ask about the extent to which they could me in this matter (since they're pretty much third party here). To my surprise they said they could help me with the return process as this seems like an obvious scam from Onida. But before that they'd place a new service visit request from their end on my behalf to give Onida one last chance to resolve this. Amazon said if Onida doesn't visit by a certain date, they'd initiate the return process and help me with that. That date passed, no one visited, I called back Amazon. This executive was rude and said "There's nothing Amazon could do about it. The previous Amazon executive probably lied to you. All I am doing here is just creating a new request for a service visit."Edit 4: Raising complaints almost everywhere (like Onida's call, email, Twitter, Amazon) resulted in higher authorities in Onida getting involved. Finally, the first service visit was made 80 days after the delivery. Some part was defective, so it had to be replaced. The service in-charge kept lying about the part replacement date. For example, he said - "the part has been shipped by air on priority basis and should be delivered in 1-2 days", after 2 days - "the courier tracking says it is currently out for delivery here, not sure why it hasn't reached us by now". After insisting on sharing the tracking number with me, he eventually shared it after a couple of days. Turns out Onida shipped it the day he gave me the tracking number (not by air, of course!). Anyway, it took another 17 days after the first visit to finally replace the part and install the dishwasher. So overall 97 days to install the dishwasher. Credit where it's due, the product is really good. I had Bosch before this for 5 years and this cleans a lot better.

Hi Purchased this Dishwasher 4 days ago. The delivery was prompt, next day it was delivered.There wasn't much needed to be done in terms of installation as plumbing was already in place.There is a slight problem in design of this product - on the right side of the door the gap is bigger than left side.The installation person confirmed that this is a design flaw and not a product defect. This flaw is all the Onida 14 place Dishwashers. It doesn't hamper the functionality of the Dishwasher.Works very well.

I was scared to buy this product by seeing the reviews but I tryed to take risk because of its rate (I purchased this for 18.5K at offer time) and service ( it's avelable in my town)# Same day demo and instalation# you will not get 14place model inthis range even local brand.# 3 layer packing. Not even singlescrach.

The customer support in Bengaluru is extremely poor. Whenever I raise a complaint, the service personnel close it with random comments without even contacting me. There is no update on the complaint status unless I follow up with customer care myself. The customer care team can only create new tickets, which take 48 hours to be addressed, but the service personnel never visit and simply close the complaint with misleading remarks. This cycle keeps repeating, making the whole process frustrating. I regret purchasing an Onida product.

Dear Sir Dish washer purchased on 9th may 2021 and it was delivered on 13 th may 2021 amazon personhas informed me company person visits next day for Demo and installationas stated was not visited I have telephoned company no which was given on website and delivered dishwater package they were very kind and heard my request to send company person for demo and installation and understood my anxiety and kindly senr engineerand who has visited and found problems with the dish washer on 10th june 2021 and stated to have reported company official has advised me to approachamazon for repacement irequest I request amazon to help me
