I used this when I had IBS, and it worked very well to get rid of all the gas and bloating and feeling like I needed to do number 2 every few minutes when little or nothing was there. That was a horrible experience, and I am really thankful for the psyllium husk.Another thing that really works well is using bentonite clay for a short period of time. I had loose stools and decided that I might have mold or fungus in my system. I used bentonite clay (specifically designed for taking orally - 1 teaspoon of powder mixed in a cup of water) for one week, and I was perfectly regular and have not had to use psyllium husk for a couple of weeks now.The reason that I thought I might have mold or fungus in my system is that I had a sinus infection for four months and all of the medicine the doctor told me to take did nothing to help it. But then I found two nasal sprays through YouTube and Amazon reviews that got rid of my sinus infection. I think I had some mold or fungus in my sinuses. They are XLEAR with xylitol and grapefruit seed extract, and Seagate olive leaf extract, nasal spray with xylitol and wild indigo. I used to both so don’t know which one is better. I continue to use both if I go out to a crowded place to prevent another sinus infection.

This product has been a real game-changer for me! I have some particular health issues that contribute to chronic constipation. For many years I relied on Aloe-Lite, an herbal supplement, to keep me regular. During some sessions with a nutritionist, I learned I needed to add (yes...)even more fiber to my already healthy diet. After some research, I decided to try the Yerba Prima Organic Psyllium Whole Husk product. I started with a teaspoon/day, then worked my way up to a heaping Tablespoon/day. All I can say is, "WOW", this stuff really works. It is important to avoid taking this product within a certain time period if you are taking medications/supplements as it can block absorption of these items. I have found that, for me, it works best if I take it several hours after dinner and my evening supplements...usually right before bedtime. Be sure to drink an adequate amount of water to avoid choking (the psyllium expands when wet and can cause a choking hazard if taken with too little water!). I mix mine in about 10 oz of filtered reverse osmosis water and drink quickly, as it tends to get thicker as it sits in the glass. Truthfully, I don't love the texture of this supplement, but it is a small price to pay for avoiding constipation. As an added benefit, my cholesterol dropped 100 points since I have added the psyllium into my daily regimen 3 months ago(I do not take any other medications for cholesterol!). Not sure if this is a coincidence, but, that may be another added benefit.

Great for a fiber boost, i like it. however, i wish it was a very fine powder like metamucil. it was a little too “chunky” for me, i put it all in blender to make it into a finer powder and now it’s better.

Pooping has never been easier since taking this fiber. I take 1 tablespoons in the morning and one in the afternoon and it’s really help. Whenever I go to the bathroom now it just slides out, no pushing required. Great stuff, highly recommend!

I bought this because Dr. Gundry said it's a weight loss drink. I figured I'd take a chance and I'm glad I did. This stuff definitely clears you out - although that wasn't my issue, but I can see that it's very effective. And the few pounds I wanted to lose are gone in two weeks' time with no other change to diet or exercise. I'm not exactly sure why this would make me slimmer; I only know what my pants are loose now, the way I like them to be.
