Best Bang for the Buck!Samsung 980 Gen 3 performace is roughly 90 to 95% of Samsung Evo 970 or Sabrent Rocket 3 SSD in atleast 30% less price.Also to mention that its power consumption is much lesser then Evo 970 and Sabrent Rocket 3 due to which less heat is generated and is ideal for laptops.Windows Boot time reduced from 1 min (in SSHD) to 12 secs (in 980 SSD)Also to mention that overall stability of laptop has increased due to which it is accessable most of the times as windows updates doesnt take that long to finish as on mechanial hdd.Also to.mention that even though it is DRAM less drive but it really doesnt affect performance in general pc use or even high end gaming. But it might not be a perfect drive if you run SQL service or CADs work. Sabrent Rocket 3 or 970 Evo + is for that group.

if you're looking for solid performance without stepping into the high-end category, then this is worth the money. will reach high temps when under constant stress, so also try placing a heatsink or thermal pad.
