Lovely gift but the metal type is misleading
I bought this gift for my wife on our 11th anniversary, which traditionally is celebrated with a steel gift. This product is marketed for the 11th year anniversary and the figures are described as "metal" so naturally I assumed they would be steel.The figures inside are lovely and robust feeling, they are very well made and non gender specific for representation in any circumstance, which I thought was great and inclusive. The wooden storage box is a nice touch too with the words "11 years we made a family" etched into the side. My wife really liked the gift and to be honest, so did I.But, there are a few niggles I have with the product and they are only niggles I have to emphasise. First, and most significant for me is the figures are not steel! they are in fact Tin, which is representative of the 10 years anniversary. In the description they are described as metal and do not tell you specifically the type of metal, this is a bit misleading given they are for the 11 years anniversary!It would be great to have the option to customise the text on the box, I understand they are probably bought from the manufacturer pre etched but still it would be nice to have the option to change it.Would I recommend it? Yes and no.Yes, if you are not bothered by what they are made from. The figures are well made and look great!No, if you are wanting the figures to be steel as per the correct material for 11 years.
