great product. learned about rooibos from the #1 Ladies Detective Agency series.hard to find in supermarkets. perfect for those who love regular tea but don't need thecaffeine and don't like decaffeinated tea.

This Tea is tasty and feels more substantial than most Tea's it is a good substitute for coffee when you don't feel like brewing a cup of coffee. It is tasty and satisfying.

I’m not a tea or hot beverage drinker. I had purchased another well reviewed Rooibos tea because of the reported health benefits of Rooibos tea. I liked the other brand fine.But for comparison I purchased this brand. This brand has a much smoother/mello taste which I like very much. I will buy by his brand again.

Love the flavor; love that it never has a lingering taste in my mouth. Love that it never gets too strong; love that I can drink it without stevia, if I choose. The best tea I've ever had!

Bought "My Red Tea" Rooibos Tea USDA Certified Organic Tea in tagless bags from Amazon and "The Republic of Tea" "Double Red Rooibos Tea" which has not only Rooibos Leaves but also Rooibos Powder claiming to make a more robust tea from a local store. Bottom line is that the products are for practical purposes identical. The "Powder" does not make a difference. At first I experienced a variation in how strong the tea was from packet to packet with both products, but the last three boxes of My Red Tea have been consistent, so I assume that somehow it was how I was brewing it. I put one bag in a 28 oz mug, and like it strong. It takes 2-4 hours at room temperature, I have three mugs and rotate them! If I want it extra strong I boil it in the microwave then pour over ice. If you make it mild, one bag can be used twice. My Red Tea comes in 4 sealed packets of 20 that are kept very fresh, I then keep them in a glass mason jar with a glass-top and gasket as I use them. I really like black tea, but must have zero caffeine, not just "5%" like the decaffeinated tea; this is the best substitute I have found so far. Initially it reminded me of wet leaves in the fall (which sounds disgusting) but it was OK and I figured "it works," but it grows on you and I like it more now and have no desire to change. I have been through 320 tea bags in 8 months, and am just about to order a 5th box. I encourage you to try it. Put in a teaspoon or so of Blue Cattle Truck vanilla and a quarter teaspoon of SweetLeaf Organic Stevia Leaf Extract for a real treat (Play with amount to taste, more is better, and more expensive!). Of course this is very good without the tea bag, but the tea adds a very rich dimension to it! I rated it fours only because Black Tea is better, and I know that is not fair - it is what it is, but it is not as good! For Rooibos tea, I would give it a 5. Packaging of the My Red Tea is plenty nice and the sealed inner packets are important and effective. (Re-written 2021.05.27)

I had no idea this tea existed until a week ago. Now it is my favorite.

My favorite tea has been African Nectar for the past 10-12 years (which is pretty much Rooibus + Hibiscus and other flowers) and this is the first time I really have been enjoying just Rooibus alone. I can see why some people think this is black tea. The flavor of this tea is deep like black tea but at the same time, also light like unbitter versions of green tea or white teas, yet without the caffeine!I'm officially stating my deep-seated love of Rooibus and African Nectar more than other non-caffeinated teas which is saying a lot as I love Calendula and Chamomile, etc. These red teas always manages to calm any digestive issues after eating and relax my body more than any other non-caffeinated/medicinal teas. I can feel some, if not all, of my inflammation subside. This new brand does the same for me, so I know the quality is REAL. It is for this reason, I will always have Rooibus teas on hand and now I have a great new go-to.At first, I wanted to dock a star for the inconvenience of these teas not having the attached string to puppeteer the bag out of my mug and for lump-packing 20 teabags per packet (x4), but I got over that. Less wrapping, less waste. Just reuse a tin can and pack them in; besides we are going through/enjoying these teas too fast to care! If the creator offered this in bulk, I'd buy without hesitation.
