Best unit EVER!
I have been in nice hotels, friends remodels and had two new homes and none of the units worked as well as this one. Total winner. We bought it as a solution to our master bath makeover as we needed a heat source, its an old home so still has wall heaters which is usually ok here in So Cal, but it can be chilly first thing so we needed instant heat. The unit itself comes with a single light which on its own does a decent job, we wired it up to the same switch as our over the mirror lights so now its nice and bright in the bathroom. Turn on two or four of the heat lamps and you feel like you are on vacation, the light just feels wonderful and as a bald man, the heat can quickly become uncomfortable if I stand directly under the lights. And our roofline is 8ft high. So heat... check! Then the fan, it doesn't look like much and if I don't switch it on everything steams up when we shower (as expected), put the fan on and... nothing, zip, no mirror fogging nothing. Even putting it on afterwards quickly dry's out the room. I think its the combo of the fan and heat. The fan itself is just about right noise level, of course silent would be perfect, though then I may forget and leave it on. So yes there is a noise, its noticeable and for me its not a problem, this is very subjective so am not going to elaborate. My wife and I can have an easy conversation in there without the fan noise being a problem, hope that helps. No regrets here, buy with confidence!Oh I will say though that we did have to get an electrician in to run additional wiring for this unit, and its not small. Not an issue for us though.

2 orders came smashed
The delivery was quick but unfortunately the center bulb was smashed and out of alignment. I sent back and ordered another and that was in worse shape than the first. The Amazon packaging was good but the way the manufacturer packages the product needs to be changed.

Hit or miss on location
Cannot go in the shower space... speaking of space... my husband hated it because it looked like a rocket was launching out of the bathroom.

Great for a new installation
I got this product knowing I’d have to do my research to ensure it was installed correctly. The ceiling is not installed in my bathroom yet, so I figured it wouldn’t be too bad. I also have easy access to my breaker from the bathroom. Because of these factors, it was a pretty easy install. Start to finish, by myself, in about three hours. The 14 gage wire connected to the switch and the unit easily and securely. I was ready to have to replace the switch with the reviews, but it was actually decent, so I was fine with it. The heat and light output is great, and the fan is really quiet. For someone who is replacing an existing fan, I can see where it could be difficult, but in a new installation, the expanded wiring diagram works well, and the unit was well worth the money and time for installation.

Cannot be used in a shower area . 9' ceilings. Returned it
Had to call tech support for wiring issues. Found out it cannot be used in a shower area (9' ceiling). Never mentioned that in the description. Returned it.

Not intended for retrofits
The unit is very well constructed and well laid out. But I regretfully have to return it. Here's why:The Aero Pure is not really intended as a retrofit product. Nowhere is it disclosed that the main 15 amp line has to run FIRST to the unit, and then a hot line to the switches. It has to be done this way because (also not mentioned) there is a heat sensor in the unit that turns the fan on when the bulbs get too hot. I suspect that would be the case pretty much every time the heat bulbs are on for more than a few minutes. Wiring it the way every other heater/fan/light is done (like the Broan it would have replaced) also voids the Aero Pure warranty. All of this is on a pink "Read First" paper that is packed on top of the unit. So, I assumed that I could just pop the unit in and use the same wiring -not so. Since I would have to deal with trying to fish wiring through fire blocks and so on, it just was not worth it. In new construction it would be no big deal. It's unfortunate because I did know from other reviews that you have to have a 15 amp circuit. Swapping out a breaker is $7 and 3 minutes. Re-wiring in a hot attic is probably 6 hours. Again, it's a nice unit, but only if you have easy access to your wiring in a retrofit situation.

Aero Pure A716A MC Quiet Bathroom Fan
Beautiful unit with many features: two switches for the heat lamps (2 bulbs each for total of 540 watts or 1080 watts for total with four bulbs with both heat switches turned on). Fan automatically turns on when unit heats up or can manually turn on with switch and a light bulb in the middle of the four heat lamps for illumination with its own switch. Unit came with two double toggle switches and labels on the cover plate.I did have some questions on the install, I am a diyer, customer support answers me promptly, which I appreciate.

Fan didn’t work
Hired electrician to install and found out the fan didn’t work. Return was easy but I am out the electrician’s bill.
