Q: Will this work on a Kala Ubass?

If it has a strap button on the bottom it'll work, the small leather piece will go around the headstock. However it might be a little long for a ukulele

Q: Where is this manufactured?

I'm not 100% sure. It's real solid, wherever it's made. It might be from the USA as leather stuff usually isn't made in China. But usually if something is from the USA, the seller will flaunt that and make sure you know it. I don't like getting stuff from China, but if this is, than it's really good quality. Feels American, possibly not.

Q: I don't like metal parts on a strap , yet my only concern since the leather ends are longer than most will they cause any issues on a small acoustic?

I personally wouldn’t leave leather against a wood body.

Q: Is it just me or the strap is really long. Even at its shortest, it is relatively low.

If thats a question then I would say its at a good length. Im 5'2 and it even works on someone thats 5' and 6'. In other words, it can be both long and short because it really adjustable
