Great solid hand cream, smells amazing, a little greasy but socks in well, makes a lovely secret Santa or stocking filler, comes in a lovely tin and last ages. Works well lovely soft hands

I bought this as a gift. Lovely packaging and a beautiful bar of moisturiser. I've tried it and it's a lovely hand moisturiser with a lovely fresh scent (orange/lime). In my experience, it soaked in well to my hands and left my skin soft, and was not sticky or tacky afterward. This is going to last a long time because after 5 months of using it most days it still retains its original shape and pattern. So, looks like being good value too. The tin is larger than the bar but this doesn't seem to matter in the use or carrying of the bar. It's great for cutting out plastic packaging and rather lovely as a gift and useful item.

Smells great, a bit like a Thornton's Orange Chocolate Cream but I think I'd buy something in a tube or bottle next time (Yes I know, not very eco friendly. I'll recycle. ) as it all feels a little messy once applied and takes a good while to sink in. Lovely tin though, worth the purchase in itself.

Love the tin and how the block looks. Love the idea... but hands feel initially greasy it doesn't seem to absorb well so hands don't feel moisturised after greasy feeling wears off. It does smell beautiful so is nice to rub over hands. Bit of a mixed review I'm afraid...

It is quite rare that I come across a product which I believe is so good that it stands heads and shoulders above any others, however, in this case I can quite honestly say that these hand cream bars are amazing, and the best I have ever tried! I bought them because a few of my friends had previously ordered from The Edinburgh Natural Skin Care Company, and all raved about the quality of the products. To sum up in as few words as possible, these hand cream bars leave my skin incredibly soft, and the effects last so much longer than others I have previously tried. Even after washing my hands a few times I can still feel the benefits of the product. They are not greasy, not oily, but just leave a lovely soft sheen on the skin. They also have beautiful fragrances - not at all overpowering - just very pleasant.It is probably worth mentioning that my husband is a gardener, and despite his initial, dismissive response to trying these bars, he is now hooked and he says his hands have never felt so good!Wonderful hand creams - try them and you will be converted!

I tend to get really bad cracked, dry and itchy hands, especially when the weather gets colder... this bar has saved me from a lot of pain and discomfort!! Most days I only apply it at the end of day when I'm sitting down resting from the day. And so far this has been enough to keep the dryness at bay! I had to apply it more frequently when I bought it as my hands were badly cracked and sore, but now it's just maintenance/ prevention. It has also helped with itchy dry shins.It's not as absorbant as other creams but I feel it's protection and moisturising effects last much longer with having to use less product.Definitely recommend!
