Sharp pencils for ever
I can honestly say that this sharpener just rocks. For a battery operated sharpener, it's awesome and our pencils are sharp. Much better then the cheap ones that you try to sharpen by hand.

Efficient and affordable pencil sharpener
This is a 'proper' item with rotating cutters, and does a quick and efficient job with the smaller standard diameter pencils including colour pencils. But you won't get a junior triangular Faber-Castell through the aperture! Powered by four AA batteries, which you supply. I like the side entry design and the easily removable large shavings bin, and the overall light weight. Price is attractive, too.
