A must read. Couldn’t put it down. How to pray for others! Who doesn’t need this?!?

A deep dive into the Word of God about the meaning of spiritually interceeding on someone’s behalf.

I bought this book for a women’s Bible study, I LOVE it!! Great introduction to intercessory prayer! If you’re looking for a Bible study book this one is great! Or if you’re just interested in Intercessory Prayer this is a great place to start! It’s an easy read! Dutch Sheets does a great job! I am excited to read other books by him! In my pic, the discoloration at the bottom is not how it came, It got wet in the car from my umbrella. It came in quick & in perfect condition. Also, I really like the print size, not too small and not too big. It’s an easy read and easy to read. In some of the heavier parts Dutch does a great job of interjecting humor/lighter writing, giving your brain a little bit to process what you just read before going on to the next paragraph or chapter. Would recommend and have already bought it again for a friend!

This book gives useful and knowledgeable information for applying and understanding intercessory prayer. I’ve listened to it on audible and had to order for study. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Intercessory Prayer by Dutch Sheets blew my mind - I was challenged and encouraged all in one. So much truth in this book, challenging our laissez-faire view of "let go and let God" and puts some of the onus on us as we "re-present" Christ's victory on the cross. Makes me wonder if I had any say in whether my firstborn son lived or died at birth (he passed at 8 days) but regardless, I'm encouraged because even if he is not with us now, we will see him one day, because of Christ. I'm making this a book I return to. So much power packed into one book.

My church group is using this along with the study guide. I am getting a lot from the experience.

I wish I could give it more than five stars. I have attended church and have been a practicing follower of Christ all my life and have usually been frustrated with very little victory. I found this book and researched the author to make sure he wasn't some kind of snake oil salesman. He's not. I have learned more from the teaching in this book than from 40 years' worth of sermons combined. (Another great resource is Prayers that Rout Demons and Break Curses by John Eckhardt.) The church is lacking SO MUCH when it comes to teaching us the power we have in Christ among other things. Dutch Sheets writes in a way that paints a picture that helps you understand biblical accounts you've heard thousands of times, but never truly understood. If you are searching for truth and tired of the "spiritual milk" you've been fed, then get this book! I never before understood just how complete the work of Jesus on the cross was (and is) and how the Father very much wants to work with each of us to accomplish His will. I can't write enough about all the revelation I've received. I loved this so much I purchased 8 used copies to give to people I may encounter who are searching and I am going to order more. Get ready to be Prayer Warriors! All is not gloom and doom! We can change things in this world for the better if we ask the Father to RELEASE HIS POWER!! Woo hoo!! Oh, and also...this was a used book. Very good condition.

This book gave me a new perspective on praying for others. Be careful not to get caught up in the idea that there's a formula we must use....that was the only thing about this book that bothered me. Perhaps not what the author was trying to say, but that's just how it came across to me. Very good and instructive.
