Will this fit on the end of a painter's extension pole? Same size screw in as a paint roller?

Unless abused, this is not likely to break. I have the pole and several cleaning attachments as well. All my Eversprout products are sturdy and reliable. The boat hook is heavy duty, thick plastic. I use it for reaching and lifting lots of things. I use it quite a bit AND I don’t have a boat!

The rails along the sides of the launch pier here are about 2" in diameter - is this hook wide enough to grab them?

I'm pretty sure but not positive. My boat's in her slip so I can't access it right now. I can say that I'm thoroughly impressed with this boat hook. It's very strong and the telescoping slides latch easily and securely. I'm 99% sure it will grab a 2" rail no problem.
