Stripped epoxy off of walnut really well. Wore well.

They stick to my sander without any problems and I get quite a bit out of each piece before having to change it out. I was really impressed by that as I was afraid they wouldn’t last long since they were so cheap but I like surprises like this. Actually there’s a few times they stick so well it’s kind of hard to pull them off to change out but definitely not something to complain about. I’ll most definitely buy again. All around great transaction

Just want I need

40 Grit. On soft wood like redwood these do not last very long. Just scuffing up the redwood for sealing a disk doesn't last longer than doing one 8'x6" board. I wasn't trying to level or remove imperfections, just roughen up the surface a little. The grit doesn't load up so that is good but after about 3/4 of that length the disk is almost smooth to the touch. I tried another brand and was able to sand 2 or 3 boards per disk.I used a high quality random orbital sander and also tried various speeds from lowest to highest. A setting in the medium number ranges worked best but still the performancer wasn't as good as other brands.In summary, it's quite expensive to use.
