Great!
These are way better quality than Simpson! I’d use these over name brand any day. Thicker and stronger. Would buy again.

Good price
I’m happy about the price on these. They seem pretty durable, but like others said they do start to oxidize quickly. Hopefully they last a long time.

Works well
Extremely useful. Attaches post to concrete and keeps post out of the ground.

Do not use with treated lumber
I am giving this product a 1 star rating, not because there is anything wrong with the construction of the item or that it came defective or anything. It's because this item should not be used for treated lumber, something that you won't read in the description which is disappointing.I ordered these post bases about 5 weeks ago because they were on sale, I was planning on installing them this weekend as I finally pulled the trigger on ordering the treated lumber, etc. Just read (on another website) that this particular galvanized product is not ideal for treated lumber and that either stainless steel, black coated or newer galvanized steel products should be used with treated lumber.I am now outside the return window (30 days) so am stuck with these but will be ordering different post bases that are recommended for treated lumber. Just wish the description made mention of that as I feel like it's misleading and who wants to build a deck or patio roof with these post bases only to find out later that they start deteriorating much quicker than expected.

POST BASES ARE SOLID!!!!
I see some of the ratings on the site say there is a rust problem. I used these post bases over 1 year ago and can teell you 100 percent that thee is not a speck of rust on any of the bases and they are constantly exposed to water.
