Helpful Health education and tools!
This has been THE BEST! My sensory sensitive son can easily become overwhelmed. We’ve been using mindfulness techniques, but I found this and realized it was the perfect health book for our homeschooling this year- mental wellness! The activities are quick and easy, they can also be used multiple times. You don’t have to go in order, you can pick and choose depending on what you need. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for something fun, different, and useful for their home school health. Or anyone who has children who could benefit from mindfulness (which would probably be everyone!).We also got the anger management book in the same series, and that is helpful for kids who are easily frustrated as well.

Good workbook
I think it's a little advanced for my 7 year old, but I will hold on to it for when he's older. Has good strategies.

Couldn’t say enough good things about this book!
This is recommended for kids at least 8 years old but my 7 year old is grasping and loving this one SO much! We home school so each week we dive into a chapter and then spend the week applying what we learn for practice. My daughter has taken an interest in my yoga and meditation practice since she was little, so mindfulness is something we practice regularly anyways, but having information in the form of a book has been very helpful for her. She’s a highly sensitive kid and when she feels joy, she REALLY feels it. When she’s upset, she feels that just as deep. I was (and am) the same way, so practicing mindfulness and allowing our feelings without judgment, recognizing physically/mentally/emotionally what we are experiencing, and having tools to soothe ourselves through a deep-feeling human experience are life changing skills to have.Since we started this book, she has been very interested in tuning into her self and the world around her on a conscious level.I would recommend this book to everyone and their children! Super great info delivered in a fun way!
