the pinion housing is plastic, I didn't expect that, I knew it was a chinese part but now I'm worried if a heavy impact or bump will break that plastic cover. Do not trust this for a high speed buggy.

Imput shaft had no support causing rubbing and im sure gear skipping poorly built for sure also no greese fittings with next to no greese inside it and the rubbers need metal zip tied or hose cramps from falling off

The output shaft on the rack is sloppy loose and it only sits in place by the plastic housing. Has no sleeve to help support the shaft. Very cheaply made in my eyes. The steering is improved but I have doubts about safety and reliability. I can’t keep the wheels aligned with the steering wheel do to skipping between the gears in the shaft. I believe it’s defective but they wouldn’t exchange it. I had already cut down the steering column and tie rods to make fit on my grandsons go kart before I noticed how loose the output shaft was.
