Looks like a good product, but not what I needed
I did some research before ordering this to add as a preservative for baked bread. There was a some conflicting information floating around.While waiting for it to be delivered (it took a week), I found that this was most commonly used for preserving acidic foods like condiments, juices and carbonated beverages. Not recommended for pH above 4.2 or in yeast doughs. Also, most breads are in the pH range 4.5 - 6.0. So while I think this may be a fine product, it's probably not best for making breads.It looks like Calcium Propionate would have been a better choice. Calcium Propionate is effective up to pH 6.0, very effective against mold and gentle on yeast doughs.
