Does not work at all
After it arrived late, I was way behind. But now happy it had arrived. Well, I should say I "was" happy. Using the supplied cord, not batteries, I powered it up. Since I am transferring a lot of cargo and every pound counts, I decided to grab a few items and make sure it worked. Nope. On 10lbs it was off over a pound. 20lbs would read 19.6 (ok, that wasn't bad, but then 30lbs was way off again. I tried several item, and zero'd it out just to be sure. Read the directions for calibration. Could not get it to even go into the calibration mode. This would be bad directions. In them it states to hold the mode button down until 000000 comes up. I held it for over a minute at one point as I was getting desperate. I managed to figure out holding both power AND mode will put it into calibration mode. Figured I was good. Its annoying. Because I don't have 1 item that is EXACTLY 5 or 10kg, I took items that add up to that weight. However, when you place them on, as you get close, it just says 'GOOD' and resets. It does not allow enough time to do it fast enough. So with the help of the wife, we were able to place the items on at the exact same time. So we should be good...right? Nope. Now a can of corn weighs 21.4 pounds. I tried several times to reset, zero out, and recalibrate, and everything is way off. After 2 hours with playing with weights and other items to make sure everything was exact, I'm done. It should be noted that I was putting on items that I knew the EXACT weight of (weighed on a friends truck scale in an active warehouse)

Great scale for the gym!
Have used it for stones, sandbags and weights so far. Easy to use. I place a rubber mat on top, zero the scale out then weigh stones, weights or other objects with harder surfaces.Love it!

Great value for the price & can be powered by AA batteries or AC adapter.
Needed a scale to weigh larger items & decided to give this one a try. After 6 months of use, it seems to be holding up well.Several things that I like areScale can be powered 4 AA batteries or the included AC adapterA large LCD screen that displays the weight in real-time.It has an extra-long cord that allows the screen to be mounted on a wall while the scale sets on the floor. My only complaint would be that the display looks & feels a little cheaply made. I may be being too picky but it just doesn't seem as nice as the rest of the unit.I still believe you will be happy with it but felt it was worth a mention.

Hard to set up
As far as the product goes it does do a good job so far. I needed something like this to make my weighing of shipping boxes easier to see. So as it stands its a good product especially for the price. The issues I have with it is it will not run on just batteries so do not under stand why it is equipped for it. Also it does need to be calibrated and it will only ask for Kelo's for a standard. I live in the us soooo maybe it would be nice for LB being available. I had to cross over and find something that was close on the calibration weight. Being it came from China the instructions were written like a 4 year old wrote it just saying. Would I recommend it? Yes I would I would like to see the battery thing addressed though.
