Used once, didn't break.
Needed to swap a few alternator pulleys for my personal vehicles. I'm sure if this tool needed to be used daily it would wear out fast, but I've used it twice in 12 months and it's still fine. For the price it's a quarter of the cost of a shop labor hour to do the same job. Who cares if it's not Snap-On? It gets the job done and saved me $$$.At my old job the new mechanics had nice shiny tool-cabinets full of snap-on tools. The ASE Diesel veteran mechanics had tool-cabinets full of Harbor Freight tools. What does that tell you?

Well Made but...
Very well made but I was trying to remove the alternator pully in my 2013 Jetta tdi without having to remove the alternator. This was just a little too long to do this. Otherwise, it was the perfect tool for the job.

Decent priced specialty tool kit
I bought this kit to replace a ADP on a dodge caliber, the tools are nice and seem to be decent quality for the price. Unfortunately, the alternator shaft did not have a head for the hex/torx bits to fit to hold it in place, like it was supposed to, so I didn't get to use much of this kit. I used the 17mm hex with an impact to remove the pulley, and it worked great for that.

Tool that works - finally!
Before getting this tool I ordered a similar tool set from another manufacturer. It's 10 mm female socket broke as I tried removing alternator pulley from my car alternator while it was inside the engine bay.I got OEMTOOLS tool set, and used it on the same alternator pulley using 10 mm female socket (holding its shaft with 10mm wrench) and 17 mm socket (holding it with 19mm wrench). To my delight I was able to remove pulley after applying considerable force (car approached 100k and pulley was somewhat rusty inside despite protective plastic cap). This tool set comes in a small plastic box, and this can be handy for long term storage. Overall I am happy with the tool set quality and highly recommend it.

Right tool for the job
Don't try to make due with whatever you have in the toolbox. Get the right tool for the job. I botched a bit of the alternator shaft and then waited until these tools arrived. Delivery was fast and enabled me to do the job properly. There are other variations on this type of tool and some are much more expensive. I found this set to be very competitively priced and they worked just fine.

10mm socket bit needs better QC
good kit, but the 10mm socket bit broke during first use. Returned and got my money back. Thanks Amazon. Didn’t use the other pieces, so I’m not sure of their quality.

Could not have done the job without it.
The spline tool made the job doable. Unfortunately, the particular manufacturer of my alternator did not make the shaft with a hex for the center bit. I had to use a small Phillips screwdriver to hold the fins through the vents on the side of the alternator. Never the less, I could not have done the job without the tool- well worth the cost.

great tool and great price
I'm glad that i bought this tool set. it made this job go a lot smoother. i guess i could have rented the tool from the parts store for free, but i guess its always nice to have it juts in case i need it again or a friend needs to barrow it.
